Soda went inside and I saw Sandy. Gosh I hate her. I waited for 20 minutes and I went in.
Soda's P.O.V
Why do I let myself get into things like this? I went inside and saw her. "Hey baby I knew you want me back. Did you get my note?" Sandy said. "Uhh yea I did get it." "Do you want to get back together?" She asked. "I don't know." The waitress came and we ordered a coke and she bought it to us. As we were drinking the coke I heard the door open and I saw that Sandy didn't look up. I turned around and saw Edith and Steve. What was he doing here. Anyways Steve said hi to me. That's when Sandy looked up. Sandy glared at Edith. Edith smiled and sat next to me. "Hey Soda" she said then she kissed me. But instead her kissing me on the cheek she kissed me on the lips. THE LIPS!!!! I didn't mind so I kissed back. Edith pulled away and looked at Sandy. Sandy got up and left. Edith laughed and Steve was just standing there in shock. "Tell anyone and I will kill you alright." Edith said. "I won't tell anyone but you have to tell me why you did it." Steve said while he sat down. Edith told him the whole story and he started to laugh. "Well it worked." I said. "Yeah I know." She said. "You did know that Sandy is gonna get you?" Steve told Edith. Edith just froze. "Shut up Steve she ain't gonna get near my best friend." I told Steve while I hit him in the back of the head. "Let's go home." Edith said.
Edith's P.O.V
While I was waiting I saw Steve and we started to talk outside the Dingo. We went inside and I had to do the plan. But I decided to get Sandy even more jealous and mad so I kissed him on the lips. He kissed back. Awkward.. He kissed good.
We headed to the Curtis house when we saw that red mustang from the other night. The one full of soc girls. It stopped right in front of us. Cherry and other girls came out. "Can I talk to you?" Cherry asked. "Who?" Soda asked. "The girl" she said. "Why do you want to talk to her?" Steve asked. "Because it's just some stuff." Cherry said. "Guys don't worry I will be fine." I said. I went over to Cherry. "What do you want?" I asked. "Tell your best friend to stay away from Ponyboy." Cherry said. "No I'm fine. Get near her and I will kill you." "Whatever." She said as I left.
I walked back to Soda and Steve. "What did she want?" Steve asked. "She wanted Ariana to stay away from Pony. But that ain't gonna happen." "What if she gets near her?" Soda asked. "She won't get near her because if she does she gonna end up dead." I said. "Damn you don't like when people hurt your bestfriends huh?" Steve asked. "No. I don't like it at all. Not even when people touch the gang." "Oh dang." Steve said. I just laughed. We walked back to the Curtis House. Out way over their was us making fun of Dally or each other.
We arrived and Johnny came up to me. "Hey princess do you want to go to the drive-in later on?" He asked me nervously. "Sure thing Johnny Cake." I said as I smiled. "Okay." He said happy. "Got a date with Johnny huh?" Two-bit asked. "Not a date stupid." "Okay whatever." "Haha can I go though?" I asked him considering he was like a dad to me. "Yeah just carry your switch blade." He said. I nodded in agreement. We all sat down on the couch watching Mickey when Ariana and Dally came in. Dally looked mad. He sat next to me. "Hey Dal you alright?" I asked. "Nah stupid broad got her brother on me." He said as he put his arm around me. "What the fuck! Who?" I said. "Sylvia. She tried to hurt Ariana. That's why she looks scared." He said. I turned to Ariana and it was true she did look scared. "What the fuck. When I see her I will put her in her place." I said mad. He chuckled. "I'm serious Dal!" "I know you are." He said with a smirk.
A few hours past and it was time for the drive in with Johnny. I still had my clothes from earlier cause I haven't gone home. I just fixed my make-up. "Ready for your date?" Ariana asked. "Its not a date." I said. "Yeah sure!" She said laughing. I playfully rolled my eyes. We were in Soda's room. "You know Edith, Johnny likes you a lot but he is too scared to admit it." Pony said. "Whatever." I said as I did my top eye liner. "Its true" he said. I just didn't say anything.
