Prom night came I thought I would get ready with my girls, but somehow I'm with April. We don't say much. "So you and Raphael are matching, that's cute." She says I finish the last bit of make up I don't wear it out or use much. "You and Casey finally a thing?" I ask her making her flustered. "Donnie had a crush on me so we thought we should keep it a secret." She explains. I look at her. "Have you seen them recently?" I ask her. They were supposed to go same goes for my brother. "I know we're not friends but I have a bad feeling about tonight." She admitted to me avoiding my question. I looked at her concern written all over. "I do too. But I figured a little time experiencing something most teenagers get to is better than nothing. Besides the location changed." I added nonchalantly making her check her phone finally. "Did you do this?" She questioned. "What me? No, I would be in so much trouble putting in a false report of a certain group of thugs, who already followed a bunch of teenagers because some of them have fathers that are geniuses and know about mutations and DNA altering." I say smiling knowing that I did just that. Last minute sending a fake plan of how the purple dragons could break into prom. "But I did hear that they captured some that were hiding around the hotel especially near exits. I pull up the report. You know for someone who wants to be a journalist I thought you would have seen this already." I tease her. She looks at my phone as photos of the arrest appear on the screen. "I can see why Raphael likes you." She says. "Could I ask you something?" She asked the look on her face I saw the question. "I know that look and you're not getting an answer." "What do you mean?" "You want to know about Nicole, and nope. These lips are sealed." I say to her. Grabbing my phone I leave her to finish off, "I'm going to call the boys." I say before stepping out.

They came and Vanessa took my brother to dance. He stilled showed up, dressed up and came with flowers. He held onto tight I knew he missed her. Raphael dance with me pulling us away from my old friends and his brothers. I didn't expect it but Donnie and Mikey picked up their girlfriends as well. They were stand offish but still they stood next to them in their dresses. I see Leo watching them almost ready to protect. I pleaded in my head for them to dance together. If they got this far on their own, or with time. Whatever it was. Raphael hand went lower, he whispers in my ear. "What do you say me and you leave a little early beautiful." He squeezes my body closer to him. I felt my body heat up. Looking up at him. I nod my head. As we continue to dance in the ball room of the hotel. The low lights, and twinkling fairy lights maybe the night more romantic than I expected. With a light academia theme, off white paint, trimming that feels nostalgic to a baroque, light blush velvet curtains pulled open showing the darkness of the night.

We left, after a two more songs, looking back I see they were all dancing. I smiled at them. What I didn't expect was for Amy to look back at me. The small smile she had faded but it returned with a small nod. Being pulled away I follow Raphael out. We uber to a pizza place, "I should have known." I laugh as we are over dressed. The place was like another pizza restaurant with booths against the wall round tables and plastic chairs. Checkered floors and smell of garlic and tomato fill the air along with the warmth of the oven. "Well I'm hungry and I want to eat before we get the hotel." I feel his smirk despite his lips being next to my ear. The trip isn't for a few days but we got a hotel together. Angel surprisingly agreed but to be honest I think it's because we're not sure if I could get pregnant. I still got on birth control just in case. We haven't bothered Donnie about the logistics since well everything that was happening. As our pizza came out he grabbed the slices and lead me to a table. My brother might be right, I have gotten soft since Raphael. He takes my hand as I sit down. I smile at him, it wasn't a bad thing at all, I definitely don't mind.

As we walk in, my heels click on the shiny floor. Making our way to check in, I gave them my name and card. As soon as we got the room key he scoops me up. Walking straight to the elevator, this was definitely a nice hotel with high ceilings and marble floors. Our stuff is with April and Casey they got a car and all of our stuff was them. He walks into our room. Using the room to unlock it, as the door open I scan the room the big king size bed, with fresh sheets. The little sitting area with a table by the window. A closet with a few hangers and I'm sure a safe inside. The door is shut and locked. He walks to the bed and lays me down. He takes off my heels, before he starts kissing my legs making his way to my thighs. I held my breath. He looks up knowing what he's doing. He takes off his shirt. His lips kiss me passionately, "I want the real you" I ask before we keep going. He takes off the rest of his clothes before removing the watch. He seems surprised but did what I asked. Sitting up I continue our kiss bringing him down to the mattress on top of me.

Honestly next chapter is gonna be post vacation. But I wanted the couple to start building back together although you are watching from afar. Anyways I'm gonna finish this one way or another.
