Chapter Twenty-Four: Again

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
 Zayn was sat in my porch and I had my legs crossed as my head laid peacefully on his lap. It has been two hours since we played our little game of twenty questions and JC's mom shoo'd us away for 'PDAs and vandalizing', so we had no other choice but to stay in my porch.
"Are you doing anything today?" I asked.
"Yeah," he said, "I have to run errands for my mom around one."
"Oh, nevermind then." I sighed.
"Did you have anything in mind?" He looked down at me, gently playing with my hair.
"I was wondering if you'd like to hang out," I paused to bite my lip, "but it seems like you'd be busy."
"Well..." He trailed off to think for a little bit. "How about after I'm done with my errands, I'll pick you up and we can go somewhere?"
"I'd like that." I smiled. "I think I'd give Jaimie a call to see if she's busy, so I could hang out with her while I wait for you."
"Alright, then." He smiled back, leaning down to peck my lips lightly.
"Shouldn't you get going now though?" I frowned. "It's already twelve-thirty, I don't want you to get in trouble."
"I won't." He chuckled. "But I should really go now."
I got off him and stood up, offering my hands to him. He gladly took them and pushed himself up, pulling me into a close hug right after. I hugged him back and went on my tippy toes when he let go to kiss his cheek, smiling brightly.
"I'll see you later?" He smiled, both of us walking to my driveway.
"Yeah." I smiled back.
He pecked my lips again before getting his keys out of his pocket and hovered over to his car, smiling at me one more time before getting inside and driving away. When he disappeared from my driveway, I locked my front door and jogged my way to my room.
I plopped on my bed, dialing Jaimie's number. After three or more rings, she picked up and I imagined her with a bright smile.
"Sup?" She asked, popping the 'p'.
"Nothing," I shrugged, "are you doing anything today?"
"Um," she paused, "I'm available till four."
"Have some rock concert to go to?" I teased.
"Nah," she laughed, "it's Maz's birthday! I'm going on a date with him."
"Oh, shit!" I cursed, slapping my forehead. "I completely forgot!"
"Oooh, he won't like that!" She gasped playfully.
"Let's just pretend I've been busy all day and that's why I wasn't able to greet him, yeah?" I grinned. "I'll send him a birthday text later."
"I guess we could play pretend." She giggled. "So what are you planning to do today?"
"I don't know." I sighed, shrugging. "I'm so damn bored, and I want to hang out with someone."
"Um, Aeanne?" She asked, matter-of-factly. "You two always find a way to hang out...?"
"Yeah, no." I grumbled, rolling my eyes. "We aren't talking to each other right now."
"Woah, is that even possible?" She asked sarcastically.
"Guess so." I shrugged. "Anyways, let's hang out today."
"Sure!" She exclaimed. "Where to?"
"We can do a bit of shopping?" I suggested. "You can buy new clothes for your little date with Maz and me..um, I don't know, I guess I'll just find myself new clothes."
