Time is a strange concept. 

Sometimes it moves slower than we want it to, making days seem like they lasted for years on end. Other times it moves faster than we could have ever imagined, making years pass in the blink of an eye. 

It is something which must be savoured, yet something we all fear. 

Pause too long, and you will have found your child grown up before you even know it. But stop every second to cherish it and you'll find yourself fearing death more than anyone else. 

So then what does it make the people who control time?

Certainly not all-powerful. 

In an era where having a quirk was as normal as having ten fingers on your hands, time quirks were still amongst some of the rarest abilities to form. Not because the quirk gene miraculously knew not to bless humans with something so powerful, but more so because once humans possesed such a strength they tended to misuse it.
