~Kimbriella POV~

I stare at the digital clock, the vile red numbers burning my retinas. 1.58 A.M. Two minutes until I was supposed to be on my way. I bite the inside of my cheek, pancing the room. This was stupid. I could.. I could tell Ryker, we were a big pack, right? I sigh. I gaze around the room, moonlight streaming through the window I had opened a few minutes before, the light breeze fluttering the curtains and cooling the room, searching for some memento I could bring with me, something to remind me of my time here.

I want to get this little token, I'm risking getting caught. Peeking around the corner of the doorway, I scope out of the hallway. Empty. Selfishly, I continue, strolling into Ryker's room. Heading towards the nightstand drawer. Heart beating more quickly, I ease open the drawer slowly. A velvet box sits inside, half covered by random bits of paper shoved in.

Hand shaking, I draw it out. My fingers work to slowly pry it open. Sitting inside is the ring -my ring.. oe is it?- placed carefully inside. I remove it, pressing it into my palm. I snap the box shut and put it back in the drawer, closing it. I leave the room at a fast-paced walk, re-entering my own room. I shut the door and lock it, hoping it will buy me a bit of time in the morning. Quickly, I snatch the paper and pen that I had prepared for this moment. I write rapidly, knowing I don't have much time.

Please, everyone, only read the section with your name, or else Brinley will hurt you.

Brinley; You're my bae, gurlie. You're so crazy and fun and I can't possible describe how great you are in this one stupid little note, but you're wonderful. Protect Ashalyn and obsess over her baby children. Beat up anyone who reads a section that isn't titled with their name.

Ashalyn; You're the sweetest, mot caring friend a girl could ever ask for. Have some cute little children for Brinley to obsess over, kay?

Elison; You hurt Ashalyn, and you're a dead man. If not, feel free to have cute little baby children, Beta. Take care of Ryker for me, will ya?

Anne; Thanks so much for all your support and advice. I appreciate the help, even if it didn't work out so well in the end. You would've made a fantastic mother in-law. I'm so, so sorry.

Cynthia and Trey; Have fun with your baby child, and get Anne to help you, because I'm telling you, she's the man. Well, woman, actually, but that wouldn't have sounded as good and it's a great move.. anyways, good luck and best of wishes.

Ryker; It's not your fault.. I'm sorry. I love you.

I scribble out the last three words with a vengeance, making certain no one will ever be able to read them. Laying the note in the middle of the bed for everyone to see, I move to the window and swing my feet over the spill, preparing for the jump. Not letting myself think about it, I jump.

I walk through the pitch black, off to meet the creep.

About three and a half hours later, I come to the top of a hill. The sun is rising, painting the sky with various pinks and oranges that combine to make a gorgeous landscape. Fingering my neck, I feel like I can relate to the lone wolf that graces my neck, witnessing the sunrise. I drop my fingers and continue on the journey, refusing to get caught up in any memories that would do me no good.
