~Kimbriella POV~

5 years later..

''James Carter Aldaine, you get back here right now!'' I shout, chasing my unruly little three year old. His wild brown curls twist every which way in the strong breeze. He looks a lot like his father already, with the same hair, eyes and face shape. I shift the baby in my arms to hold her more securely.

Isabella Grace is a cutie, and I can tell she's going to look like me. She has her father's dark brown hair, but my blue eyes. Even though she's only ten months, I can tell she's going to be more on the quiet, thoughtful side, while James is going to be crazy, obnoxious little heartbreaker.

''Hey.'' Ryker snatches me from behind. ''Let me get him. You sit.''

'"Ryker, just because I'm pregnant doesn't mean I'm entirely indisposed.'' I huff.

''I know.'' He pecks my lips. I sigh in defeat. ''So are you going to let me get him now? And you're going to sit down, rest your feet?''

''Yep.'' I roll my eyes. Haven't lost that habit yet.

''Love you.'' He gives me another quick kiss before chasing after James. I can hear James's squeals of delight as Ryker cathes up to him, then swings him up in the air.

''Aaawwh, hey Isabewwa.'' Brinley coos, gently stroking her tiny fingers.

''You're going to have a little friend in about eight months or so.''

My head jerks up. ''Does that.. mean? Are you serious?''

''Yup.'' Decker comes up behind Brinley, wrapping one arm around her shoulders and the other on her belly.

''Oh my goodness!'' I hug Brinley carefully, making sure not to squish Isabella. ''That's great.''

Ashalyn and Elison walked towards us, Elison carrying Daniel in his arms and Ashalyn's stomach is big. I can spot Kaden from a distance, walking with his newfound mate, a crazy, spunky girl named Rebecca. We were all thrilled to welcome her to the family.

Decker wanders to talk with Cynthia and Trey, their quiver of four children surrounding them, jumping and rolling in the grass.

'"Can you believe we ended up here?'' I whisper, looking at all the happy families, the sunny day, feeling as content as I've ever been.

''No.'' She answers honestly. ''If you had asked me to predict my future five years ago, this is not what I would've come up with.''

''Me neither.'' I nod. ''It's better.''

''Agreed''

''How did we get so lucky?'' I wonder aloud, staring at the clouds.

''I don't quite know. I'm just glad it ended up how it did.'' Brinley places her hands on her hips, face serene.

''Me too, Brin. Me too..''
