It feels like I've been driving forever and I'm exhausted. It's five in the morning and we are at least twenty minutes away from the hotel we are gonna stay at for the night in Georgia.
I can't wait to sleep.
Aaliyah was already passed out in the passenger seat. The GPS told me where to go as I drove. This whole expire cd is really cool, you know all the traveling. Although I haven't been able to really sight see, it's still cool.
Finally the hotel came into sight. I can already feel the warm blanket over my body. I parked my car in one of the empty spaces. There wasn't many people out right now.
Aaliyah woke up from the sudden movement of the car parking. "We're here" I say. She sleepily gets out the car and we make our way into the hotel. I'll just get our bags from out the car tomorrow.
My mom booked the hotels for us, so I just went up to the desk and got the key. I thanked the women and me and Aaliyah walked to the elevator. I pressed the button and waited. When the doors opened we stepped in.
I pressed the third floor button, and the elevator began to move. I pretty sure we both looked like walking zombies. The elevator came to a halt on our floor.
We found our room and I used the card to unlock the door. Aaliyah went straight to one of the beds and laid down. We where already in sleep wear, so I just took my shirt off and laid down.
As soon as my head hit the pillow I was out.
Next Morning
Aaliyah was the first to wake up dis morning. I woke up at least an hour after her. It was already one in the afternoon when I got up, i was tired.
The event starts at six and we want to get there two hours early so we have about three hours to get ready.
"Aaliyah I'm gonna go get the suitcases" I tell Aaliyah before exiting the room. I did the whole elevator thing. I stopped out the elevator into the lobby and walked out the exit of the hotel.
I found my car and popped the trunk. I'm not gonna carry all Aaliyah's stuff. I used an extra book bag I had in my trunk and put all out necessities, three outfits Aaliyah can choose from, and my outfit of choice.
I headed back into the busy lobby and walked to the elevator. I waited until he came down the ground floor and got on pressing the third floor button. The elevator took me up to our floor and I got off.
I walked to the room and used the card to unlock the door. Aaliyah was laying in bed on her phone, typical. I threw the three outfits and her necessities on the bed beside her. "Thanks" She said.
I nodded my head and went in the bathroom to shower. I turned the nobs to the shower and let the water heat up. I stripped from my clothing, and got in.
I did the regular stuff people do inside the shower. Washed my hair, and body.
And of course I did sing, I really love to sing, and I've been told I'm very good at it.
