"So...thanks for letting me take you out-"
"Nico please tell me you are not going to start acting like a lovesick puppy?" I asked with a teasing grin.
He shrugged but I could see a faint blush.
"We may be on a date but underneath that I am your best friend."
He smiled and nodded. I slipped my hand in his and he looked over at me. Nico raised his eyebrows in surprise.
I shrugged in return. He rolled his eyes and we walked into our destination.
Nico went up to the counter to get our ice cream.
