Casey Peavler
"I think you'll like Camp," Leo gives me an impish grin. I give him a half hearted smile. Leo continues talking about the cabins and strawberry field but I just tune him out mostly. "...and here we are." I look out the car window at the strawberry field. The driver stops and we step out. "Thanks Argus!" Leo calls out as he guides me away.
Leo talks about different things as we walk around camp. "Jason, Piper, Nico! Come meet Casey!" Three people start making their way towards me. The girl introduces herself as Piper.
She has a choppy haircut. She is wearing an orange camp Half blood tshirt and Capris. The blond boy says his name is Jason. He is wearing something similar to Piper. I notice how close they are together and decide that they must be a couple.
The other boy is entirely different though. His hair is dark black and his skin is pale. He is wearing a black tshirt and jeans. He has a chain on his pocket and I notice a skull ring on his hand. My eyes slowly went to the black stygian sword on his belt.
"My name is Nico," he says muttering. "Casey," I blush. Piper looks between us and grins. "Percy, come here," a boy with dark hair and sea blue eyes walks towards us, holding hands with a blonde girl. "I'm Annabeth," she eyes me, holding out her hand to shake. I shake her hand and the other boy introduces himself. "Why don't I show you around?" Leo smiles and we say goodbye to the others.
It's been three weeks since I got here. I was training with Percy and Leo when Nico walks by. He nods at me and I smile. I didn't realize I was in the way until Percy knocks my sword out of my hand. Percy smirks at me and looks to where Nico disappeared. Leo starts to laugh and I blush when Percy helps me up.
"Maybe you'd pay more attention if Nico was teaching you," Percy chuckles. Leo shakes his head, still laughing. "She's still get distracted looking at his face," he calls out.
I blush and mutter 'shut up.'
It's only sad because it's true.
