Natasha's POV
I've been in the woods for 9 years. It had become home. It was all I had.
It's night outside. I'm laying under a fallen tree. Just enough space to fit.
I could here the crickets. But what scared me was a roar in the distance. I didn't start to run for another 5 minutes. It was chasing me. Very quickly.
My legs pounded into the earth. I dodged over branches, under bushes, and avoided hitting trees.
I slowed to a stop as I heard silence. My bag was strapped to my back.
"What in Hades are you doing standing there? Bubble Gum MOVE!" I look at the guy who was hissing above me. In a tree.
Shaggy black hair, brownish black eyes, and tall. He wore all black and had a.....sword! Strapped to his hip.
"Well," he snapped his fingers, "Are you waiting for an invitation. Follow me!"
He hoped down and that's when I heard a huge roar.
"I really hate Cyclops'."
The guy took off running.
I didn't have a choice but to follow.
2 days later
"What's your name?" Nico, the guy whose name I learned asked.
"Natasha Bridger."
He studied me for a second. "I like Bubble Gum better."
I raised an eyebrow, "Why do you call me that?"
He pointed to my hair, "Your hair is pink. Like bubble gum."
Before I could respond he continued.
"Your brown eyes look like my sister's did."
I nod at him. Nick immediately looks away, he looked like he regretted saying that.
"Why are you out here?" Nick asks. I laughed humorlessly, "My dad left me here when I was six years old."
Nick frowned, "that....sucks?"
"Let's not get into my son story. What about you Mr. Tall, dark, and handsome?"
And then he explained demigods.
1 week later
I hate the Stoll brothers. They stole My diary! Nico got it back though. And he asked me out!
It seemed that He didn't talk to a lot of people.
Capture the flag
During the middle of the game I hear a few teammates gasped. I look up when Nico points.
I've been claimed by Hecate.
Camp was now my home. I have been found.
