Chapter 54
-;-Stacey's POV-;-
I woke up to see that my friends were already out of bed.
"Goodmorning." Lacy chirped as she walked out of the bathroom.
"Hi." I said.
"Someones cranky."
"I'm not cranky." I snapped.
Lacy rolled her eyes at me and started to do her hair.
"PMSing." Sara whispered and Lacy laughed.
I rolled my eyes and took a shower. When I was finished I decided to wear jean shorts, a purple tank top, and purple flip-flops. I tied my hair up into a ponytail and put on a little eyeliner.
"You look like a cheerleader, hahaha." Danny said walking in.
"Hey Danny, so are you and Lacy going to match for the party." I asked.
"If she wants to." He shrugged.
"She wants to." Sara and I answered for Lacy.
Lacy blushed and turned back to the mirror.
"Ok, what color?"
"Don't they kind of already match? Lacy has gold on her dress and I made Danny bring his outfit too that has a gold mask. So you already match." Sara said.
"Ok?" Danny said getting up to leave.
"Ready to go?" I asked everyone.
"Yeah, let's go."
I decided to go see what Shane was doing. He was talking on his cellphone. He mouthed mom.
"I love you too." He said then hung up.
"Awww you said I love you to your mommy." I teased then stopped when I realized I had just set myself up.
"Well, I love you to, Stacey."
"I-I--"
"CAN WE LEAVE?" Danny screamed.
I breathed out an internal sigh of relief.
"Yeah!" I yelled and started to turn around but Shane held me. I heard Sara start to talk then stop when she saw us.
"Stacey, I love you."
"I love you to." I said.
"Good."
He kissed me then left.
"That's a load of bulls--"
"STACEY!" Danny yelled, cutting Sara off.
"Coming! So damn impatient." I said walking out.
I walked to the front door.
"It's about damn time." Danny said unlocking the door.
"Why are you in such a hurry? Practice is going to be boring."
***
And that's exactly how practice was. Long and boring. When we got home we all collapsed onto the couches.
"So what is there to do here?"
"Ummm there's a pool."
"Can we go? It's hot." Lacy asked.
"Sure, but we're going to need a ride. I'll call one of my friends." I said.
I went upstairs to my room to go change while calling Nate.
