****Sorry if these next couple chapters are boring but the point of them is really just for auditions.****
Chapter 41
We read through the script a couple times and we watched the actual movie. Hairspray was going to be a great play. When the auditions were over I turned around and walked right into someone.
"Oh sorry..Seth??" I asked. When did he get here?
"It's ok and yeah."
"I didn't know you did plays." I said.
"Well I can multitask can't I?" He said.
"Of course." I said.
I looked for my friends but I couldn't find them.
"Fudge." I said.
"Fudge?" Seth laughed.
"Yep, no need for profanity when you could say fudge!" I said.
"Okk then. Well I gotta go. Do you need a ride?" He asked.
"Yeah, thanks." I followed him to his car.
"Hey there baby. Ready to go?" Kelly kissed him on the cheek.
I backed up and raised an eyebrow.
"Kelly, we aren't together anymore." Seth said.
"Oh come on don't be that way. You know you want me." She stepped closer to him and he stepped back.
"No, I don't want you." He said.
"Look, if this is about that tramp Stacey I--"
I coughed, making my presence known. She pursed her lips at me.
"Stacey." She said.
"Kelly."
"Tramp."
"Bitch." I said easily.
She huffed and walked away. I rolled my eyes at her and walked to Seth's car.
Once we were in the car I started laughing.
"What's so funny?" He asked.
"Nothing." I said.
We got to my house in less than 5 minutes. I was about to say thank you when I started laughing again.
"Ok, seriously what is so funny?" He asked.
"Nothing." I started laughing again and the hump in my hair came undone, falling in my face.
I was laughing so hard. God Kelly got rejected badly. I was still laughing so I didn't feel Seth brush the hair out of my face. When I opened my eyes he was only a couple inches away from my face.
He kept leaning in closer and closer. He smelled good. Stop thinking about how good he smells!
I could feel his lips brushing against mine. He was about to kiss me when I pulled away.
"Seth I-I have a boyfriend." I tried to look anywhere but at him. That steering wheel sure looked fascinating.
"Oh. Sorry, I shouldn't have tried anything." He said.
"Well thanks for the ride. I gotta go." I said.
I got out of the car as quickly as possible and hurried into the house. I closed the door and leaned against it, sliding down to the floor.
"Drew? Kat?" I yelled.
No one. I guess I was home alone.
I went upstairs, and finished all my homework. I was bored. I should text Nate. I typed out a message and was about to send it when I remembered that we weren't friends anymore.
