Chapter 55 [Part 1]
-;-Stacey's POV-;-
When I woke up Sara and Lacy had already taken a shower.
"Why do you guys always wake up so early?"
They shrugged as I walked into the bathroom. When I was done I walked outside and caught some of their conversation.
"I think we should go get everything done. Nails, Hair, everything. It could be a good time to just talk." Sara said.
"Yeah, sounds like a good idea. I think I saw a couple hair and nail places by the school. But we would have to walk." I said.
"Sounds good. Let's go now. I think we should bring like a $100." Lacy said.
At this time I was happy I hadn't spent all my money. I had like $500 from what I brought from Los Angeles.
"Well just let me get dressed." I said.
I put on a pair of Bermuda shorts, a boyfriend t-short, and flip flops. We all grabbed some money and walked downstairs.
Danny and Shane were already up and were currently attempting Just Dance. I laughed at the sight of them dancing to a duet. Danny was the girl and Shane was the guy.
We burst out laughing and they quickly stopped and blushed.
"Well, you guys look like you want some privacy. We'll be out." I said still laughing.
Once we got to the area around the school, we had know idea which way to go.
"Maybe we should've used google maps or something." Lacy said.
We kept walking down the street and we found a place that did hair and nails. It took us two hours to finally walk out.
"Our hair smells really good." Lacy said absent-mindedly.
We looked at her and laughed. I looked at the time and it was 1:45.
"You know what I just realized?" I said.
"What?"
"We don't have a ride to the masquerade." I laughed.
They both glared at me and I stopped.
"I'll get one gosh."
We saw a really nice coffee place so we decided to go get something to eat. We all bought a cookie.
I took a bite out of my cookie just as I turned to see Kelly and her crew walk in.
I choked slightly and ducked behind Sara. Hopefully looking sane.
"Stacey!" Kelly said.
Damn. I turned to face her.
"Hey, Kelly."
"You're coming to my party right "
"Sure."
"Cool. See you later."
"Umm ok. Bye."
We started to walk back to my place.
"Well that was the nicest she's ever been to me." I said.
"Shady shady." Sara said.
3 hours later...
"Ok, Vanny said that we can all get a ride from her. She'll be here at 7:30." I said putting my phone on the vanity.
"Ok, all we need to do is makeup. Who wants to go first?" Sara asked.
"I'll go." Lacy said.
"Alright."
Sara put on gloves.
"Where did you get gloves?" I asked.
"The kitchen. Duh. I don't want my nails to get dirty."
"But--"
"Shhh."
She put her iPod shuffle and Party Rock Anthem came on.
It felt like when we were getting ready for my masquerade. Good times.
-;-Seth's POV-;-
I lay down staring at my ceiling for an hour. I checked the clock. 7:00. Maybe I should get dressed now. I was putting on my tux when Kelly called.
"Hey, you're coming to the party right? Well where a gold tie. K, bye!"
She hung up. I rolled my eyes at my phone. She's lucky I had one. I finished putting everything on and just ran a hand through my hair. I put on a gold mask that Kelly gave to me and I was ready.
I grabbed my keys and started for Kelly's party.
-;-Kelly's POV-;-
"No! No! No! I wanted there to be gold SPARKLY bags!" I yelled at the guy. I put my hands to my temples as he tried to apologize.
I put my hand up to silence him and walked away. It's not like I could change it.the party started in half an hour. I needed to go get ready.
My dress was gorgeous. On me of course. It came up to a little lower than mid thigh. And it was right. So it showed off everything I had to offer. Which was a lot.
I paired with a pair of gold strappy heels. I kept my makeup minimal. I had curled my hair but straightened my bangs. When I was finally finished there were already a ton of people here.
Time for my entrance.
-;-Stacey's POV-;-
"Ok, we're ready." I said.
We walked down the stairs and Danny and Shane whistled for all of us. Shane offered his arm and I took it as we walked outside to Vanny's car.
It felt like prom, but it wasn't. When we got to the place, you could hear the music from a mile away. And on top of that you couldn't recognize anyone. Which is why I quickly lost all my friends.
Great.
"Stacey?" A boy with a dark green mask came up to me.
"Yeah, and you are?"
He pulled up his mask. Nate.
"Oh hey. What's up?" I asked.
"Nothing much. Lost the people I was with. You look great by the way."
"Thanks, you to."
"Well, i'm going to get a drink. I need one. Do you want one?"
"No thanks. I can't handle alcohol. I get drunk if I take a sip."
He chuckled, "Well, i'll see you on the dance floor."
He walked away and I stood there. Alone. I decided to go the bathroom. I think I remember where it was, from the last party.
When I finally found it there was already a line. I can't believe I said I love you to Shane. It was easier than I thought. But then Sara looked pissed at him. I needed to find her and see what that was all about.
I left the line and started to look for Sara. I saw a girl that looked like Sara and I tapped her but it wasn't her. I sat down on a stray couch, giving up on my search.
I looked at my phone. It had been an hour since I got here. Where was Shane? As a matter of fact, I hadn't seen any of my friends in awhile.
I wonder what Sara has been wanting to tell me all this time. What if it was something bad? Maybe something happened...
I stood up. I needed to find her.
****Ok so this chapter was boring but the next part is where everything goes down. So yeah. VoMmEnT!! Fan?****
