Chapter twenty six:

Jane's P.O.V:

One hour and thirty minutes till school starts. I haven't heard any news from Gabby or Fran. Well I did hear about them through social media. Like Fran and John are official. Well on Facebook it says they're in a relationship. And Gabby and Harry got promise rings, they adopted a dog together, since Gabby's allergic to cats. But it was Harry tweeting it. Usually Gabby's likes super active on Facebook and everything. And it's not like she's getting that much hate, it actually gone down a lot! And when I tried to talk to her on the phone , we'll talk for like 10 minutes about I don't know school or clothes or something and then she'll have to go. Something just seems wrong. And I know I'm not the easiest to talk to, I do comment on things that I shouldn't. But at least I'll finally get to see her today. I jumped into the car and turn on the engine and radio. I live really far from my school, since its like the best high school in London, so I just used Gabby's address so I can get in. I pulled into the school parking lot, it was pretty empty. I searched spring looking for Gabby's car, she was usually thirty or forty five minutes early, and she picked up far since they live close to each other. I fumbled around my bag and texted Gabby 'Hey! Where are? What happen to always being early? ;)'. It was a simple text but with a little humour, you know just in case she's in a bad mood this might cheer her up a little. I did my usual sucking up. You know to my teachers, the usual 'hello how was you Christmas?' That kind of stuff. 30 minutes until school starts, people finally started to come, I said hi to almost everyone but ill only yet a causal 'hey'. I fiddled around with my phone, in front of my locker. Gabby still hasn't texted back, I hope I didn't say or do anything before to get her mad. Well I did kinda make her mom go to the underworld so she can never see her again. But gabby would have told me if she was mad or not. I suddenly a pound crowd come in. I turned my head sightly so still half my head was covered by my locker door. It was all the popular people. I honestly don't know why people hated them, like thy can be really nice once you get to know them. But again most of them are two faced. One minute they'll be your best friend and the next they'll be spreading a new rumour about them. I turned my head once the queen b looked over at me. Lets just say we both hate each other for the right reasons. I suddenly heard a argument containing the voices of the popular girls. The hall ways were empty execs for some nerds and jocks. "Who do you think you are?!" I heard the queen b yell. Whoever messed with them is sure in trouble. I walked closer to the crowd hoping to see who started this problem. Gabby? My jaw practically hit the ground when I herd gabby use her quick comebacks. I really did want to stop it but they were all in a circle and it was hard to get between. This wasn't like her at all! She's usually the cupcake that try to get I between it. "Jane!!!" I heard someone yell behind me, I turned around hoping it was Fran. It was, "Fran!" I yelled as she came running to me. "Oh my god! What's going on!" Fran yelled while peeking through the crowd, "I don't know!" I yelled. I heard the first bell ring, everyone in the crowd left except for the queen b. "Now you're going to forget all about this and all you'll remember is that me and you got into a little argument" I heard gabby say while compelling her. She quickly left probably going to home room. "Gabby?" I said while gabby speed walked away, I could tell she was ignoring me. "Gabby!" I yelled louder, "what?!" She screamed giving me a death glare, I could see the anger and pain behind her eyes. I had to admit I was pretty scared, I never seen gabby so mad in her life! Gabby quickly ran back to class, "I'll talk to her" Fran said while running after gabby.

Gabby's P.O.V:

Twenty minutes till school was over, our teacher let us read our book for class. Neither Fran or Jane was in this class with me. I know I was really mean to them but when I'm mad you better just back off from me and leave me alone for a couple days unless I come to you. I held the book in front of my face so no one could see it. The teacher left the room and of course the class went crazy! Fran tried to talk to be but I told her ill call her later, and of course Jane wouldn't leave me alone until I told her. But I just couldn't tell her. I suddenly felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. I secretly pulled it out my phone and read the text, "I'll be home next week, remember if you need anything you can just call me or grandma. Love you". My mom needed to go to my grandma's since well my dad's dead. His body was found in the lake about a couple days ago. But that wasn't the worst part, the people who kidnapped Demi are threatening to kill anyone close to me, they didn't say who exact, but it bound to be Harry. Because if they killed my mom ill brake and then their little plot will be ruined, and well if they killed Fran and Jane, I would be sad but it wouldn't be the end of the world, but if they kill Harry, I just wouldn't know how to live with myself. The bell rang, everyone ran out of class, I knew if I left right now ill bump into Jane and Fran, and I just didn't feel like talking to them. Or I can just stay here for a couple minutes and pass everyone. I took out some papers from my binder so it looks like I'm doing something. 'Gabrielle!" I heard someone yell from the door. Nobody calls me Gabrielle expect for when I'm in trouble, I slowly lifted my head. "Where's Ms.Smith?" The principle asked, "I don't know sir, she left to the bathroom" I said, "well until she comes back can you watch him? She's supposed to watch detention" he said while getting somebody from the hallway, "thank you again" he said while leaving the room and closing the door behind him. The boy sat down in the front, I didn't get a close look at his face but he had curly brown hair, almost like Harry's but a lighter brown. I didn't really know if I should say something or not. Whatever I got some time to kill and it'll be less awkward if I talked. I pulled a chair and sat beside him. "Hey" I said with a smile, he looked up at me with tears in his eyes. "What's wrong?" I asked. He began to laugh like crazy, "you don't remember me do you?" He asked while lifting his head up higher. "Jake!" I yelled while hugging him. Jake was me and janes best friend from the seventh grade. But then Jane and him got into a really big fight and I was left in the middle and well I kinda chose Jane. "What are you doing in detention?" I asked while pulling away from the hug, "when am I not in detention?" He smirked. That smirk. It was his classic smirk but I he never used it to get girls. Like I never understood how he only had like one girlfriend before and that was like in the eight grade! It's not like he's mean and ugly. We talked for a little bit before the teacher came and I had to go. I actually felt happy for the first time today, even though he's a troublemaker and a goof ball, he's a really good listener, and he's really cheeky so he can always make you laugh when you don't want to. And you can always trust him! I slowly wiped off my makeup, I rarely wore any but I had bags under my eyes and I needed to cover it. I turned over to my phone that was vibrating like crazy. All the texts were from Jane and Fran. I laid on the bed facing the ceiling. Harry's should be coming over soon, since he's leaving tomorrow. I suddenly herd the door open downstairs. I laid in bed I was too and lazy to get up. Both Harry and my fiends had a key to this house now. "Gabby!" I heard someone yell through the door. "Yeah!" I yelled while sitting up, hoping it was Harry. "Oh my god gabby we need to tell you something!" Jane yelled whole running into my room as Fran followed behind, I grunted as ran my fingers through my hair. "Okay so gabby you have to listen!" Jane exclaimed, I rolled my eyes. I know I seemed pretty mean but the whole day it was 'oh my god! Gabby! What's wrong?' Like literally they known me since like forever, when I'm mad you leave me alone! "Gabby you need to listen its important" Fran said using her calming words, "I'm listening" I said. Jane started going on about her and Fran like hanging out and blah blah blah. Jane using did that she never really got to the point to the story. "Jane how about I explain" Fran said while cutting off Jane. "Okay so gabby when I did my little thingy to see the future I well saw a funeral" Fran said but stopping halfway. It must have been my dads funeral. "But umm gabby it was for umm Harry" Fran barley said. I could feel my heart race in my chest. "Gabby?" Fran asked while sitting beside me, I moved further away as the thoughts filled my head. "Okay seriously gabby what's wrong with you?!" Jane yelled, I felt my heart beat faster than it ever did before. "Do you really want to know what's wrong with me Jane? Well first off I just found out my boyfriend gonna die soon. And my dad is dead! Yep! He was found in the lake a couple days ago! And I got into a fight with the popular girls, so I can basically kiss my social life goodbye! And you know what else? My whole life is crumbling and you still have the nerve to ask me what's wrong!" I yelled while getting up. I ran outside as Jane and Fran followed. "Gabby wait!" Jane yelled while catching up to be, I quickly open the car door and climbed in. "Gabby I'm sorry!" Jane yelled while banging on the window, "gabby! I'm sorry! I know you it must be so hard for you right now, but you can't do it without us! You need me more than I need you" she said softer. I climbed out the car falling into the arms of Jane. I rested my head on her shoulder since she was taller than me. "Fran" Jane said while motioning her to come here. Jane joined the little group hug that we always had. I suddenly felt this pain in my chest. I pulled away from the hug pulling on my necklace. I pulled out a little note from my necklace, "I know you are expecting us to tell you to break up with Harry right? That's to easy. Now this is hard, knowing that any second we could possibly kill Harry. Goodnight!".
