Hey, guys. So I was thinking this chapter over and realized that Luke's is way too long, so I cut some of it. Don't worry though, it will be in a Part 2 if you guys want one of those.
If this is the first time reading the chapter, pay no attention to this Author's Note.
Calum-
Football Star
It's the typical nerd and jock were childhood friends, then once high school started jock became more popular than nerd and nerd was crushing on jock the entire time. You know that he never felt the same about you, so you just opted for crushing and be crushed from a far. Besides, Calum has the head cheerleader as his girlfriend. Why would he want the awkward virgin?
"(Y/N)!" You turned to look at the only other friend that you had. She was running towards you squealing in delight causing a lot of people, including Calum, to look in your direction. Your cheeks flushed and you looked away, not noticing the smile he had on his face.
"Did you really have to do that?" You asked when she sat down next to you.
"Guess who broke up for good?" She asked, ignoring that she embarrassed you. You give her a look and she took that as a good ahead. "Calum and Britney!"
You felt your eyes grow wide. "Bullshit." You claimed. Hey, you might be a nerd living a stereotypical love life but you sure as hell were not a stereotypical nerd because of your mouth and attitude.
"I'm being serious! Calum broke up with her. There were tears and the team is calling him an idiot for doing it." She nodded before stealing some of your chips. "Apparently, he has eyes for someone at the bottom of the school food chain." She winks at you. "The team is pissed."
"Wouldn't that be something?" You whispered looking over at the football (A/N soccer) team's table. They were looking at your table with glares. Your tilted your head in confusion.
"Hey Kristen! Hey (Y/N). Mind if I join you?" Your eyes widened as you heard Calum behind you.
You turned and saw him smiling sheepishly at you. "Not at all." You said moving your stuff, letting Calum sit next to you.
"Hey, heard about the break-up." Kristen went right into it, ignoring your glare. "Are you doing okay?"
"To be honest," Calum sighed. "I have never felt better. Britney was a complete bitch."
"I heard the team is pissed at you about breaking up with her." You whispered, trying not to look like a love-struck school girl while you looked at him.
"Yeah, but they will get over it. I'm the best player they have." Calum turned and looked at you, a soft small on his face. "Besides, I missed having you in my life, (Y/N)."
Ashton-
Marching Band StarMarching band. That is the main thing that the two of you have in common. Well, besides, being seniors. You and Ashton Irwin were complete opposites.
He was the best Quad player on the drumline, while you were the shy saxophone who was just told that they were going to be drum major. Ashton was outgoing and a better pick for Drum Major. You were, well, you and awkward. How you got Drum Major, you will never know.
"Mr. Rogers, you wanted to see me?" You asked, shyly walking into the band room. You clenched the strap of your backpack as you noticed that the drumline, including Ashton, was present.
"Yes, I need you to go through the marching show with the drumline. I have a doctor's appointment. However you want to help them, is fine." He said before hurrying out the door.
