Calum-
"Calum?" You call as you hear the door open and shut. There wasn't an answer. "Calum, you home?" You step out of your bedroom and go into the living room.
There's is no one there. You hear rattling in the kitchen. "Cal, is that you?" You call while walking slowly into the room. You sigh in relief when you see your flatmate making a sandwich. "Oh thank goodness. Why didn't you answer me?"
Calum didn't reply.
"Cal?" You furrow your eyebrows and tilt your head in confusion. "I know that we had a fight but it was just a small one."
Calum turned and faced you. You thought that he was going to talk to you but instead, he just walked right through you.
"No." You whispered and turned to Calum. "You are not supposed to do that! Calum Thomas Hood, you talk to me right now!" You put a hand on Calum's shoulder but it just falls through. "Calum, please. I'm not ready to go." You feel tears fall down your face.
You watch as Calum stops in his tracks.
"I know that I should. This isn't my house anymore. I died a long time ago but being with you has been giving me the life that I should have had. Please, Cal-Pal, don't do this." You whispered, hoping that he had heard you.
Calum turned around and you saw that he had tears rolling down his face. He could still hear you.
"Calum? Don't cry. You know that I hate seeing you cry because it hurts me." You let out a small laugh. "Please, don't make me leave."
Calum just stared but you could tell that he was looking at you. You looked behind him and you saw a door in the middle of the living room. You smiled sadly and started walking towards it. On your way, you paused next to Calum. He had his eyes closed, as if he didn't want to watch you leave.
"I forgive you, Cal. I know that you had tried to find me that day. I know that you blame yourself for not being able to do anything. It was never your fault. It was mine. That day, I wasn't able to contain my feelings anymore. I couldn't tell you over the phone because I had to see you." You leaned closer to him and whispered in his ear. "I love you, Calum Hood. I will always love you. You're my best friend and I forgive you for doing this. It is time for me to move on. It's time for you to move on. Find someone else. Marry someone that you love, even if I wished that it was me. I swear though, if you do not name one of your children after me, I am going to come back and haunt you. Goodbye Cal." You gently kissed his cheek and went to the door. As you touched the doorknob, you turned to see Calum looking at you.
"Goodbye (Y/N)." You heard him whisper. "I'm sorry for everything."
You smiled the smile that he loved. "Don't be sorry. I'll see you again, but not for a while got it?"
With Calum's laugh in your ears, you blew him a kiss, opened the door, and left the world for good.
"I love you, (Y/N)." Calum whispered as the door vanished from sight. "I always have and I always will."
Ashton-
"(Y/N)?" You looked up from your Halloween movie to see your parents getting their jackets on. "Are you sure that you don't want to come?"
"Yeah, I would get bored anyway. I'll stay here and hand out candy to trick-or-treaters." You smile at your mum.
She walks over and places a kiss on your forehead. "Okay sweetie. We'll be back later tonight."
"Have fun. Use protection!" You yell and laugh as your mum rolls her eyes. They leave and you return to your movies. "Alright, Halloweentown, here I come."
