Please note that I have absolutely nothing against any of the boys parents! In fact I think they are the best parents in the world (Behind mine, of course).

Calum-

You sigh as you approach your house. You could hear your parents yelling from the street outside. They had been fighting non-stop for a month or so and you hated it. You had tried to drown out the yelling with music, but, for once, it wasn't helping. You walked to the door and quietly opened it, the yelling got louder. When you closed the door, you heard the yelling cease.

"(Y/N)?" You hear your mom call from the dining room.

You slowly walk into the dining room. Your mom was sitting at the table while your dad was leaning against the wall. You stopped in the doorway. "What's up?"

"How was your day, sweetie?" Your mom faked a smile.

"Fine, I guess." You shrugged. An awkward silence filled the air so you rocked on your feet and gestured behind you. "Well, I'm gonna go to my room. Try to de-stress from this school year." Without a reply from your parents, you turned and headed out of the room. As soon as you reached the stairs, you heard the arguing start up again. You hurried up the stairs and into your room. You had your bag on the floor as you shut the door. Sighing, you pulled out your phone and dialed the first number on your speed dial.

"Hello?" Your brother's sleepy voice came through after the first ring.

"Shit, sorry Cal. I forgot about the time-zones. Just forget that I called, sleep well." You pulled the phone away from your ear and was about to hang up when you heard your brother respond, so you put the phone back to your ear.

"(Y/N), it's fine. What's up?" He said sounding a bit more awake.

"It's stupid. I can always call Mali so you can get some sleep." You bit your lip, knowing that he would get what was going on.

Growing up, you and Calum were always close. As you both matured, that never changed. You two did everything together. You talked to Calum about everything. While you were close to your older sister, Mali Koa, but she didn't understand.

"They're arguing again aren't they?" Calum said calmly. When you didn't respond, he sighed. "Why don't you tell me how your last day of school went while you pack and I look for a ticket for the next flight out and to me?"

You smiled and went into your dramatic last day of school, the sound of your parents finally being drowned out.

Ashton-

"(Y/N) (Y/M/N) Irwin, get down here now!" Your mom called from downstairs. You looked up at your older brother, Ashton, who was sitting at the head of your bed, game controller in hand. He just shrugged and gave you a confused look. Ashton and the boys were on a break from tour and your brother wanted to spend the few days he had with you.

"I'm coming, mum!" You called back and rolled off your bed. You heard the game being paused, signalling that Ashton was following. You walked into the living room where your mum was. "Yeah?"

"What in the hell is this?" Your mother pointed to the papers on the coffee table. You moved forward and took a closer look.

"Those would be song lyrics." You shrugged picking them up, folding them, and putting them in your back pocket, only to have Ashton take them out to look at them.

Your mum sighed. "(Y/N), I thought we talked about this. Music was going to be Ashton's thing and you were going to do something a bit more reasonable after finishing school." She said, smiling.

You looked down. "I know, but mum, being a music producer is reasonable."

"She's right, mum." Ashton said handing you back your songs. "(Y/N) would do well in the music producing business. In fact, I was going to have her come along on tour and maybe get a better look at how music producing works and get some advice from our producers while we work on our next album."
