Road Trip/Driving

Happy New Year!! I hope everyone has a wonderful year ahead of them.

Calum-

"Babe?" You called from your bedroom. After a moment you tried again. "Calum!" You smiled when you heard footsteps heading towards you.

"You called?" He chuckled.

"Which one do you like better?" You asked gesturing to the two outfits you have laying on the bed. "Should I go for the sweats and one of your shirts or should I put in more effort and wear jeans, one of your cut-off shirts, and my flannel?"

He furrowed his brow before coming up behind you and wrapping his arms around your waist and resting his chin on your shoulder. "What is the outfit for?"

"Tomorrow? We start our road trip tomorrow or did you forget?" You teased.

"I did not forget." He placed a kiss on your shoulder before turning away. He walked over to your dresser and pulled out your favorite pair of pajama pants. He went over to your bed and placed the pajama pants over your jeans. "There, comfortable and you'll look like you put some effort in. "Problem solves?"

You nodded. "Thanks."

"No problem, but pack those jeans." He said seriously.

You laughed and went back to your dresser. You noticed he was heading towards the door. "Hey Cal?"

He stopped and turned to you. "Yeah?"

"I need to get a new swimsuit." You turned to him with a smirk. "You want to come and help me pick it out?"

"I'll get the car started," he hurried out the door.

You chuckled. "This is going to be some road trip."

Ashton-

You watched the land as the car drove down the highway. You watched as it stretched towards the horizon. You tilted your head up and looked at the sky. The clouds were scarce but fluffy.

"What are you doing?" You turned to look at Ashton. His eyes were trained on the road but he had a smile that you knew was for you.

"Just watching the scenery go by. Looking at the clouds, trying to see what shape they are making."

Ashton chuckled. "What do you see?"

"Um," you looked at the window again. "one looks like a dragon breathing fire at a knight. Another one looks like a parent penguin looking at a baby penguin."

He chuckled and placed his hand on your thigh causing you to smile. "You're bullshitting me."

"I am not!" You lightly pushed him. "There's also a cloud that looks like a unicorn. Also, there are a couple of clouds that look like a couple holding hands." You looked at him. "That's it."

Ashton chuckled. "Do you want to stop at the next exit and see what we find?" He asked as we passed an exit sign giving the name of the upcoming town.

"Yeah," you placed your hand on his. "I really love our random road trips."

Ashton looked at you briefly before looking back at the road. "I do too."

Luke-

"Aux cord?" You asked Luke as he started the car. "Please?" You pouted and gave your best puppy dog eyes.

Luke chuckled and passed it to you. "It's all yours, love."

You cheered as you plugged it into your phone and selected the playlist you made for your road trip. It was a range of artists and genres; songs you two could easily sing along to. So, it was 90% Disney.

You two drove for a couple hours, singing Disney songs and a few other songs that were on the playlist. You, of course, were taking videos for social media.

"We should go live," you suggested as you looked through the videos.

"Yeah, why not," Luke flashed a smile at you. "We can still have the music playing in the background."

"How long until we get to the next stop?" You asked out of curiosity.

"A while." He squeezed your thigh a little causing you to giggle as you went live on Luke's Instagram.

For the next two hours, the two of you answered random questions and sang some songs. Soon enough, you two were exiting the freeway to find dinner. As you were stopped at a red light, your phone started pinging every five seconds.

"Damn," you laughed.

You answered a few more questions before Luke found a diner to eat at. As you two were looking over the menu, you snuck a look at what was making your mentions blow up. You smiled as you saw the picture were being tagged in. You were looking at the phone and had it angled so that Luke was in the frame. Luke was watching you with a soft smile on his face. The captions said things like:

Find someone that looks at you the way @lukehemmings looks at @(your twitter handle)

One of your favorites was a tweet that had the picture of you and Luke and a picture of Rapunzel and Flynn Rider during that lantern scene and the caption said, 'I don't see the difference.'

"Whatcha looking at?" Luke asked.

You looked at him and you finally saw the look everyone talked about. The look that every girl wants but never sees. "Just some screenshots of the live," you locked your phone and put it back your pocket. "So, which direction are we thinking?"

Michael-

"Which way?" You asked Michael as you approached the intersection.

"Um," he looked at his phone. "Let's go left."

Nodding, you turned left and drove down the street.

"At the next light, turn right," Michael instructed looking up. "After that, the park should be a couple minutes."

As you approached the light, you saw that the street to your right was blocked. "Time to find a way around," you said staying straight.

"Shit, okay, um," he looked at his phone. "Stay straight."

You chuckled. "Why did you pick here of all places?"

"We've never been here, take the next right," Michael instructed.

"Besides you love walking in parks with me. Also, we haven't been able to have us time in a bit. Turn right at the light."

I did and we made it to the park. "Any raids?"

"Yeah, but it doesn't start for another twenty minutes. It's on the other side of the park, so we have time. There are gyms that we can take over and can add to." Michael said before getting out.

"Let's wait to hit the gyms until after the raid," you suggested.

Michael grinned and kissed you. "God, I love you."

"Nerd," you teased as you opened up your Pokémon Go app. "Let's do this."

Chapter Question: Did you make any resolutions?

My Answer: I am hoping to be better at updating...heh and maybe start an original story. Nothing too ambitious.
