Hello! I am excited to say that I am currently on a long weekend, so I will hopefully be getting a lot more writing done.
Also, I am supposed to be switching over to an earlier shift at my job in a couple weeks, so I should have more time to writing during the day, however, I did pick up a part-time job that lasts until December that takes a few of my Saturdays away, so we will see if I can hopefully get back on schedule.
Anyway, this was requested by blackcrowfeather. She has given me quite a few really good requests, so I am going to make sure I get those written first. :)
Emjoy!
Calum-
A wasted life seems to mean the most
But these seconds are valuable"I am not looking forward to this dinner," (Y/N) said as we pulled up to her parent's house. "I can already picture the conversation. 'Hello darling. How are you? Are you still at that low paying job of yours? Darling, how are you going to get anywhere working there? It doesn't matter if you love working there. Work is not meant to be enjoyable, that's why it's called work.'" She huffed and stared at the house.
I chuckled. "Keep the conversation off of your job."
She shook her head. "They will turn it back to that. No matter what they are going to mention how I am wasting my life away."
I took her hand and kissed the back of it. "Do you think you are wasting your life?"
She looked at me in shock. "Of course not. I am building up a career by doing a job that I love. I have a loving boyfriend." She smiled at me. "We have a lovely little flat that is the perfect size for both of us. What else could a girl ask for? I love my life."
"Then that is all that matters. If your parents truly love you, then they will understand and be happy for you and proud of you. Just like I am proud of you," I leaned over and kissed her softly. "Besides maybe they will be too happy about the news to pester you about your job." I thumbed the ring on her finger.
"One can hope," she giggled before looking back towards the house and sighing. I looked there and saw her mother waving at us. "Well, our little moment was nice while it lasted."
I kissed her temple. "Everything will work out, I promise."

Let me be absolutely clear
This is mine, but I'll let you inFrom my spot in the lunch room, I can see everything. I can see a cheerleader and jock in the tightest corner practically having sex. I can see who is giving sex eyes to who and who is gonna do something stupid. Most importantly, I can see (Y/N). The girl I have had a crush on for years now. She a quiet and reserved girl who sits with her group of friends at the table next to mine. She will laugh and smile at things her friends say, but for the most part, she doesn't say much. She has looked over at me a couple times but once I catch her looking, she looks away, a red tint dusting her cheeks.
"When are you going to actually talk to her?" Luke asked me.
Talking my eyes off of her, I looked at my friend. "I have talked to her."
"No, you have asked her what the teacher said when you zoned out in class." Calum rolled his eyes. "Why don't you go say hi or ask her out?"
I shrugged. "For all I know, she has a boyfriend or a girlfriend that doesn't go here."
"She doesn't," Michael piped in before taking a bite of pizza.
"How do you know?" I asked, confused. "I never see her talk to anyone."
