Calum-

"Do I look stupid?" You looked at your boyfriend and bit your lip to hold in your laughter. Calum was in a full suit and tie as if he was getting married or going to his job in a business office.

"Yes," you giggled. You walked over to him and loosened his tie. "It's just my brother and lunch. You are not going to make a business deal."

"Yeah, but didn't you say you brother was a wrestler?" He looked at you with wide eyes.

"No, I said he played baseball and he used to be a bouncer in a bar." You rolled your eyes. "It wasn't even my idea for you two to meet so soon. It was his."

"It was?" Calum looked surprised.

"Yeah, he said that he wanted to meet the guy that makes his baby sister so happy." You kissed Calum's lips softly. "Please, change into clothes that are more you."

Calum relaxed and nodded. He went back into the bedroom and five minutes later came out in his usual clothes. "Better?"

"Much," you smiled and took his hand. "Let's go."

--

You smiled and waved your brother over to your table. "Hello," you hugged him tightly and motioned to Calum, who stood up and extended his hand. "This is Calum."

Your brother accepted the hand and looked over Calum. Calum looked extremely nervous. After a moment, your brother smiled. "It's nice to meet you, Calum. I have heard a lot of good things about you."

Calum sighed and returned the smile. "Yeah, it's nice to meet you too. (Y/N) was really excited that you were in town."

"My parents would kill me if I was in the same town as my sister and didn't at least say hi. Also, I did want to meet you, so I can soften you up to our dad." Your brother shrugged. "Hearing how happy (Y/N) is, I knew you were a good kid, so maybe hearing about you from me with ease the old man's mind."

The boys laughed and you smiled at how well two of her favorite boys were getting along.

Ashton-

"Why are you freaking out?" You giggled as Ashton was bouncing his leg under the table. "She's isn't even real family."

"You said that she was your best friend and was practically your sister. Since you are an only child, that means I am meeting your sister. Of course, I am going to be a bit nervous." Ashton pointed out. "The best friend's blessing is just as important as getting your dad's blessing."

"He does have a point," your best friend said as a greeting. You squealed happily and got up to hug her. "I'm missed you so much!"

"Me too, you have to tell us about your trip." The two of you sat down and you looked at Ashton.

"I'm Ashton," he extended his hand.

Your friend looked at him and tilted her head. She finally grabbed his hand and shook it. "You lied to me."

"What?" You asked confused.

"You told me that is was cute. This boy is damn fine. You did good, girl." She smiled widely. "Plus, from his views on meeting family and friends, he is a smart cookie."

Ashton smiled. "Thank you."

"I am just looking out for my best friend. I have sat through a few really bad break-ups and I do not want have to hunt you down." She said like it was no big deal. "Trust me, if there is anyone in (Y/N)'s family that you should worry about if you break her heart, it's me."

Ashton looked at you with wide eyes and you nodded.

"But, you have nothing to worry about right now. You're on my good list." She smiled. "Now, wait until you hear about my vacation. I was absolutely amazing. You'll have to come with me next time."
