Calum-

Someone sets you up with him

"Come on (Y/N)!" Your coworker Cindy whined. "You haven't gone on a date in a few years! He is really sweet and is looking forward to meeting with you!"

You sigh and look at the pile of paperwork on your desk. "I have things to do."

"How about you two just meet for coffee? I can tell Calum to come here." Cindy pouted. "(Y/N), please?"

You smiled, "fine, coffee, here."

--

A soft knock at your door made you look up from the paperwork that doubled in size since this morning. "Come in," you invited the person, curious.

Your breath caught as a tan skinned man entered the office with two cups of coffee and a bag. "Hi, I'm Calum. Cindy said that coming during a lunch break would be easiest for a first date. Not that this has to be a date!" He stuttered and rambled, a blush forming on his face. "Is this a bad time?"

"No, please sit." You smiled and gestured to the chair across from you. You cleared your desk of papers while he sat down.

"Cindy told me what coffee you liked and what kind of sandwiches you liked, I figured you would want some actual food, too." He chuckled slightly. He handed you your coffee and pulled out two take-out boxes and handed one to you. You took a sip of your coffee, sighing in relief as the taste reached your lips. When you opened your box, you smiled as you saw your favorite sandwich sitting there. "So, Cindy told me a few things about you when she set this up. However, she did not mention how beautiful you were. As cheesy as it sounds."

You felt your cheeks flush. "Thank you. I must admit, she did not tell me how handsome you were either. I was just hoping that you were not just some random guy she met off the street."

He laughed and you smiled wider. "I'm glad that I have exceeded your expectations."

--

Lunch went by faster than you liked and soon, you were walking him to the main door.

"Even if it was only for an hour," Calum started. "I had a really good time."

"I did too." You smiled.

"Would you want to do this again?"

"What, you coming to my office and bringing lunch, or another date outside the office?" You teased.

"Both?" He asked hopeful.

"I would love that." You two had exchanged numbers already as a just in case. You kissed his cheek. "Let me know when and I will make sure that I have the date cleared."

"I will. Text me when you are off?" You nodded and he kissed your cheek before leaving. As you walked up to your office, you stopped by Cindy's desk. "You are the best friend ever! Thank you!"

"I expect to be maid of honor at your wedding." She smirks as you walk back to your desk, feeling like you are on cloud nine.

Ashton-

You set each other up

"Okay, so do you remember that bet we made a few months ago?" You asked your best friend during a commercial.

You and him were both dateless, again, on a Friday night and he came over with take-out and you were having a Star Wars marathon.

"The one where we both lost so we both have to face punishment of being set up on a blind date?" He asked.
