"Just go talk to her!" Luke suggested.

"I can't!" I sighed. "She's a Shifter and I'm a Wizard."

"Exactly! You two basically go hand and hand!" Michael exclaimed.

"Seriously Calum, she keeps looking at you. She wants you to talk to her." Ashton gestured towards (Y/N)'s table.

"If I could read minds, I would tell you that that is not what she is actually thinking." I countered looking away from the Shifter. "She's not into me, Ashton."

"Then why is she coming this way?" Ash smirked.

I turned and sure enough, (Y/N) was walking this way.

"Hey (Y/N)!" Michael greeted.

"Hey Mikey! Hey Luke! Hey Ash!" She smiled then blushed as she looked at me. "Hey Cal. So I was wondering if you wanted to go to that dance tomorrow night? With me."

"I'm not a Shifter, though." I blurted out in shock.

She just laughed. "You know that is just a rumor right? Shifters are allowed to date non-Shifters."

I blushed. "Right, I knew that."

"So, do you want to come with me? Or do you already have a date?"

"I would love to go with you." I smiled.

"Great! I'll see you in study hall to go over details." She leaned down and kissed me cheek.

I just smiled and watched her walk away.

"You do know that she just claimed you, right?" Luke smirked.

"I'm totally okay with that." I smiled wider as I turned back to my history homework.

Ashton

Under the surface

"Josh is picking on a Faunus, again." Luke gasped as he ran up to us. "In the courtyard."

"Where's Team Ruby and Juniper?" I asked starting to jog that way.

"Missions. Ash, it's (Y/N)."

"Shit." I said before sprinting to the courtyard.

"Josh, back off." I said as I approached the circle of students.

"Why don't you make me, Irwin?" He said pushing (Y/N) down.

I immediately went over and punched him in the face. He went down fast. While his teammates were getting him off the ground, I looked at everyone.

"I don't understand why humans and the Faunus can't get along. In the end, we are all the same. If you were to cut me open and cut open a Faunus, you would find the same thing. Just because we are different on the outside, doesn't make us different on the inside." I told them. "I don't want to hear about anyone beating up anyone." I walked up to (Y/N) and helped her up. "Also, if I hear that someone beat up my girlfriend again, I will personally feed you to the Grimm."

Everyone scattered after that.

"You okay?" I asked (Y/N).

"Yeah." She said before kissing me softly. "I gotta find my team."

"I'll see you later." I said, scratching lightly behind her floppy ear.

"You bet." She smiled before rushing off.

"She has you wrapped around her finger." Luke chuckled.

"Dogs kinda have this thing about loyalty, so of course I am going to be wrapped around her finger. I'm loyal as fuck." I chuckled.

"I don't want you dating my daughter." (Y/N)'s dad said, over dinner.

"Dad!" (Y/N) yelled.

"May I ask why?" I said calmly.

"My daughter deserves better. She needs someone with a stable job and who we don't have to question when they are away. She deserves someone with a good education and someone from a good family. Someone who puts her first and who can be a family man."

I nodded. "(Y/N) does deserve better. I don't deserve a girl like (Y/N). It's not fair that she has to wait for me to come home after a tour. However, I am a few of those things. I do put (Y/N) first. I call and Skype her every day, no matter how tired I am. I stop whatever I am doing to comfort her if she is upset. She never has to question me when I am away. If an article comes out about me and a girl, I immediately explain to (Y/N) and even the girl will explain. I am a family man. I love my family, and I look forward to when I have one of my own. I don't have a college education but I'm following my dreams, something that (Y/N) encouraged me to do. I'm sorry that I am not all of those things that you want for your daughter but I'm in love with her and I'll do anything to make her happy. Breaking up with her because you said that you don't want me dating her would not make her happy." I said, not breaking eye contact with her father.

He just nodded and continued eating. "Well said, Luke." He grunted. "You treat (Y/N) well."

"Yes sir." I said looking at (Y/N) and smiling.

"(Y/N), please don't leave." I begged as she packed her bags.

"I can't do this anymore Mikey." She sighed. "I need someone around to help me with this baby."

"I know and trust me, I wish I could change these dates. I'll come back every chance I get. I'll help."

"Mikey, I don't know."

"I really wish I could be all that you want from me but you told me to never change me."

"Yeah, don't change who are because I love you just how you are."

"It's going to be rough, but we can do this. Please. Stay." I begged.

She sighed. "You get to unpack for me."

"Anything for you. Whatever you want, I'll do." I said putting her clothes back.

"You are everything I want from you, Mikey. I am going to be extremely emotional and stressed for the next 9 months."

"I know and I can get my mom to help for when I'm gone. Okay?"

"Yeah." She smiled and made grabby hands. "I need cuddles."

I smiled and crawled next to her on the bed. Her head on my chest and arm wrapped around my waist. My hand resting on her stomach.

What is the number one thing that is usually misunderstood about you?

For me, people take my shyness and introvertedness as anger or hatred towards them. Last year, my roommates, except for one, joked that I was a secret serial killer because I was a shy person and never really went out.

So sorry for my lack of posting. I hope this made up for it.
