This was suggested by blackcrowfeather. Of course. This is kind of based off of the Twilight vampire/werewolf legends.

I hope you like this. :)

Calum-

(His POV)

"Hood, you're thinking too much," I looked over my shoulder to see Seth Clearwater walking over. The newest pack member was following right behind.

"I don't know what you're talking about, Clearwater." I grumbled and turned my attention to the group that wasn't too far from us.

"Do they have to rub their happiness in our faces?" Seth joked. "I mean, even Quil is crazy happy and Claire is, what seven?"

"Eight," I corrected. "You were at her birthday last week, idiot."

"It's still weird letting vampires onto our land," the new guy commented.

"Yeah, well, Jacob and Sam came to an agreement with Carlisle and had the beach become neutral territory. Not that it's going to matter to the Cullen's soon," Seth threw a stick towards the water. "They have to move soon. People around town and starting to talk."

"Which means, Jacob is leaving soon, too," I concluded. "Great." We sat in silence for a bit, watching the imprinted couples, before I stood up. "Let's get out of here. I can't watch this anymore."

"How is it that you have been around longer than any of us and you still havn't imprinted?" Seth asked as we walked down the beach.

I shrugged. "Not all of us get an imprint so soon into phasing. Besides, I don't mind all that much. At least I won't be imprinting on an eight year old."

That caused the other two to laugh.

"Look, tourists," the other guy pointed out.

"Come on, we can at least tell them where the best surfing spots are." Seth suggested.

We followed him to the path that led to the parking lot. He and the new guy went immediately up the path and to the group of girls getting suited up for surfing but my attention drew to the lone girl that sat on a log facing the ocean.

Curious, I went over to her.

"I can't believe you get to see something like this every day," she said when I walked up to her. She looked up at me and that was it.

I froze in place even though the pull to be near her strengthened. My chest warmed seeing her and I could feel my soul pushing me to go to her. I couldn't hear anything else but her.

"Are you okay?" She got up and came closer, a worried look in her eyes. Seeing the worry, my instincts kicked into gear, wanting to get that feeling out of her.

"Yeah, sorry, that happens to some people from my tribe." I told her. "I'm Calum."

"(Y/N)," she smiled causing me to smile. "Can I know more about your tribe?"

"Yeah, I actually need to tell you something which is going to be difficult to understand or believe," I chuckled nervously.

"Believe me, I'm a believer in a lot of things. Whatever it is, I think you have nothing to worry about."

I looked at her and felt peace and the feeling of home. I gestured to the log. "Shall we?"

She nodded and we took a seat on the log as I began the long history story, never once looking away from her (eye color) eyes that were full of wonder.
