Chapter sixty nine

"Well lemme see!" Amy hissed backstage that Wednesday while Kristen was rehearsing a sketch. Bill pulled out the ring and showed it to her. "Holy shit! This is so pretty-so Kristen! She's going to love it!"
"Thank you again for giving me the opportunity, if you don't want to share-"
"We're doing it! I'm not letting you back out." She declared.
"Thank you so-"
"BILL!" Kristen called. "WE NEED YOU!"
He ran over to Kristen and Amy watched and smiled. This was the last week of the season. This cast literally went through hell and back. Kristen got abused by her husband to the point of getting hosptilized. Bill beat the shit out of him and then got sent to jail, also getting his heart shattered. She had found her long lost daughter that she had tried to block out of her mind and Seth got heartbroken and angry. Tina battled anorexia and almost died then remembered being molested  by her uncle and fucked everyone, got into drugs, ran away, and tried to kill herself. Not to mention everyone else going crazy because of these things and others.But then Bill and Kristen found love in each other, her and Seth forgave each other and had a baby and are getting married, Tina came back and married her soulmate, everyone's sanity was restored. They got through it because their relationships were stronger than what they were facing.
"Babe, you okay?" Seth came up behind her, holding August, and it was there she realized she'd been crying.
"Yeah." She broke out into a smile and took her baby. "I'm just thinking."
"That could be dangerous." He smiled. She kissed her sons face and wiped away her happy tears.
"We're getting married in like two weeks." She beamed. They started walking out into the house and sat in the chairs to watch everyone rehearse.
"I know! Having second thoughts?" He teased.
"No, oh my god, I can't wait." She cried. They planned to have their wedding where they went on the retreat last January. The bridal parties/families would stay in the cabins, the ceremony would be in front of the lake, and the reception would be under big tents they would set up on the ranch. It was a marvelous idea, in their opinion.
"Yeah, should we invite Victor?" He blurted. Amy was silent for a moment then she busted out laughing. "What?? Should we not?"
"Victor!" She laughed. "God no, we're not inviting victor!"
"Oh okay." He sighed. She kept laughing until Tina and Jimmy ran into the studio, big smiles on both their faces.
"We have an announcement!" Tina exclaimed.
"YOURE PREGNANT!" Kristen guessed. Everyone gathered around them.
"No," Tina laughed. "We established that a while ago."
"Today we're going to announce the sex of our baby!" Jimmy said. Everybody whooped.
"IM HAVING A BABY GIRL!" She cried. Everybody clapped and cheered but Amy stared wide eyed at her.
"Ohmygod." She stammered. Everyone grew silent. "Do you know what this means!"
"I think so!" Tina squealed. She jumped up, handing her baby to Seth and squeezed her.
"What does this mean, I'm confused." Jimmy creased his eyebrows.
"You and me both!" Seth laughed.
"You guys seriously don't get it!?" Amy cried.
"NO!" The whole cast was eager to figure out what the girls were all excited about.
"OUR BABIES ARE GOING TO GET MARRIED!" Tina rolled her eyes as if what they were saying was the most obvious thing in the world.
"Oh! Duh!" Seth laughed. Then everyone else laughed, knowing this was just typical Tina and Amy.
"Just saying even if you were having a boy, I always knew our kids were going to marry each other." Amy said seriously. Tina laughed.
"Now we have to pick a fitting name to match August so they sound cute together!" She said.
"September!" Horatio called. Everyone busted out laughing except the girls who both gave him a collective glare.
"I was thinking Alice." Tina said. "Alice and August."
"What about Harper, I think-" Jimmy was cut off.
"Jimmy this isn't about you!" Amy exclaimed in mock frustration.
"Yeah man your being so selfish!" Seth cackled. Everyone was laughing hard now, especially the four of them.

The whole cast was sitting in the chairs, listening to the musical guest(Paul Simon) do his sound check for the very last time. Lots of them liked to stay to listen, but that night everyone stayed to soak up every last bit of snl they had left.
"Alright, I'll sing for you guys tonight, okay?" Paul said into his mic. "This is still crazy after all these years."
"This songs enough to make a big man cry." Kenan fake sniveled, real tears forming in his eyes.
"C'mon Kee, you're ruining the moment." Kristen smiled, nuzzling into Bills chest. He wrapped his arms around her and closed his eyes. When he tried to imagine something better than this, he failed, and opened his eyes back up. What could be better than an angel in his arms and his family around him listening to the iconic snl song? Nothing. He tried to hold onto this moment forever. Next to them, Maya and Fred were holding hands. She slipped her  into Kristen's and squeezed.
Seth and Amy were next to them, August in a snuggly strapped onto Amy who was leaned into Seth. Her and Tina were holding hands and she had her head rested perfectly on Jimmy's shoulder.
In the next two rows, everybody had their arms wrapped around each other or were holding hands or maintaining some sort of contact. Holding onto each other as much as they were trying to hold onto that moment.
There were lots of tears, almost everyone was crying. People cried at the end of every season, but this one was different. Many people didn't think they would make it out alive. Peoples lives were permanently altered that year. It was a very emotional time to realize it was finished.
"Together!" Paul said, ceasing to play his guitar. "But I will not be convicted by a jury of my peers..." Kristen was quietly sobbing into Bills chest. "Still crazy, ooohh still crazy after all these years..." There wasn't a single person in the cast who wasn't crying even a little. Everybody was clapping for Paul who took a bow, smiling.
"I love you Bill." Kristen was crying then. "I want to spend the rest of my life with you, okay?"
"Sure thing." He kissed her and baby August chose that moment to start screaming.
"Yeah, he wants you guys to stop being so cute!" Rachel said. They laughed, looking over at a screaming August. He was smiling.
