Lauren stood in the kitchen, Camila on the counter, swinging her legs, kicking the cabinetry beneath her.
Lauren put her phone on shuffle, Between the Lines by Sara Bareilles coming on.
She held her hand out, Camila taking it and hopping off the counter, an answer to her silent request.
Lauren pulled Camila in.
Chest to chest, they waltzed around the kitchen, forgetting the world around them, losing themselves in the music filling the little kitchen of their one room apartment in Los Angeles.
