Dear Diary,
I'm in love with a girl who will never love me back. I am just a stupid book nerd. She is the popular girl. The most perfect girl on the planet. Even her name is perfect. Lauren Jauregui. I get butterflies every time I see her. Her emerald eyes capture my full attention. Her nose piercing makes me weak. The way her hair falls perfectly down her back makes me nervous. The way she bites her bottom lip gives me the urge to kiss her. Even her hands are prettier than me. Her voice... God, I could listen to her talk all day, even though her conversations aren't with me. She doesn't even talk to me and she manages to capture all of my senses. But why would she talk to me? She has no reason to.

Dear Diary,
Lauren was paired with me in chemistry today. We were just talking about our project but she looked so beautiful. She was closer than she has ever been to me. Her presence alone was intoxicating. And of course, while under intoxication, I lost control of my brain and, being the awkward idiot I am, I blurted out the fact that she looked beautiful. The funny thing is, she blushed. Why would she blush?

Dear Diary,
Lauren and I have become close. I don't really know how or why but we have. Being paired together for chemistry, we had no choice to spend time with each other. Our friendship may have been forced but nevertheless, we are friends now, which I am grateful for. She is coming over later so we can study for our chemistry test. While I wish we were more than friends, mere friendship is more than I thought would happen between me and the flawless creature so I guess simple friendship would have to suffice.

Lauren kissed me today.
We were working on our chemistry project at her house. We were just talking about life. I started talking about how I was in love with someone who will never love me back. I was rambling about why she would never love me or remotely reciprocate the feelings when she leaned over and she kissed me. My first kiss was Lauren Jauregui. Her lips left mine tingling. This feeling is so surreal. My first kiss. Lauren Jauregui. Those things don't even belong together but somehow they ended up that way.

Lauren asked me on a date.
We went to a carnival and I had the time of my life. Her beauty didn't fail to amaze me like always. We spent the whole night giggling and flirting with each other. She played carnival games with me. She won me a stuffed bear. She wrapped her arms around my waist from behind me while we stood in line for rides. The most magical part by far, though, is when we rode to the top of the Ferris wheel and she kissed me. It was the first date that you only see in movies.

Dear Diary,
Lauren asked me to be her girlfriend.
We were laying on the couch watching a movie. I was laying on top of her, her fingers were absentmindedly combing through my hair.
Her exact words were "Camila, will you be my girlfriend?" I know what you're thinking. "Wow that isn't that special." To me, it is one of the most special things that's ever happened. I never would have though I could call Lauren Jauregui my girlfriend. I obviously answered her question with a yes.

Today, Lauren told me she loved me. I asked her why she decided to be my girlfriend. I have been doubting myself lately. I have been really insecure. She placed her hand on either side of my face and told me I was beautiful and that she loved me. Words can't even begin to express how much I love her back.

Today is Thanksgiving.
Lauren and I met each other's whole families.
My family adored her. Who wouldn't? She's intelligent, kind, and not to mention drop dead gorgeous. My little sister curled up on the couch with her to watch a movie and ended up falling asleep. The image made my heart melt. I was nervous to meet Lauren's extended family. However, my nerves disappeared after a few minutes. Her family is so kind and welcoming. Seeing Lauren interact with her little cousins made me think what a great mother she would make someday.

This is our first Christmas together. For breakfast, Lauren made cinnamon rolls. We curled up on the couch and watched Christmas movies. I gave her the ring I had gotten her. It's a promise ring. My promise to love her as long as she lets me. She gave me a gift of a promise ring as well. It was a silver band and on the inside, our date, 7-16-12, was carved on the inside. We spent the day at my house watching movies, Sofi wrapped up in Lauren's arms while she and I cuddled on the couch. It was the best Christmas I have had in a long time.

She is only three years old and possibly the most precious little girl I have ever seen in my life. Never in a million years would I have guessed that Lauren Jauregui would be the mother of my child. Never would I have guessed that Lauren Jauregui would want me. Never would I have guessed that I would fall in love with Lauren Jauregui.
