Bria's P.O.V.
I checked the kids out of school for the day. I didn't want Jeremy to come back right now. It's his and his sisters day.
I had Jeremy's backpack and then the left overs in my hand.
Jhene was holding my hand looking around for Jeremy. "You think Daddy found him?" She asked me. "Yes baby."I replied. "Do you think he's okay." She asked. "Yes baby everything is okay." I said. She then saw Kayla coming back holdin Jermaine. Jhene let go of my hand and went running.
"You okay brother?" She asked Jeremy. He nodded his head. His face was in Kayla's neck. "Let's go." I said rubbing Jeremy's back.
Then we all walked out we went our separate ways.
I had Lourdy, Amira, and Cam decorate while we were out. We got home and the jumpers were set up, food was out, and alcohol was made. What? I'm mexican it comes with the package. Lourdy made this killer Sangria. I wanna have fun too.
"Go change guys into your superhero shirts."I said . The kids ran upstairs. We were all in the kitchen just doin some final touches. "So what happened?" I asked Kayla cutting some more watermelon. "I told him about me being a girl." She replied taking a piece. "Really! How'd he take it." I asked. "I'm still his daddy." She said smiling. "Awww" I cooed. "My little babies." I added pinching her cheek. "Shut up" She laughed.
Lourdy came inside from the back yard. "Yo you gon open the back gate?" She asked. "Oh yeah right now lemme get the sign thoe." I said running upstairs to get the poster.
"-- so we got two mommies?" I heard Jhene say. "Yeah that's what Daddy said. " Jermaine replied. "So what am i suppose to call her?" Jhene asked. "We're still gonna call her Daddy." Jeremy said. "Ohhh okay." Jhene said. I walked in. "Hey guys" I said as they jumped up. "Y'all okay?" I asked. They both nodded. "Okay well get ready." I said smiling at them.
Well at least we don't gotta tell Jhene now.
I grabbed the poster showing where to go and me and Kayla's shirts.
We got different superhero shirts and put their names in the back. On me and Kayla's we put Birthday Mom and Birthday Dad.
I walked downstairs and everyone was crowded in one circle. "What are you guys looking at?" I asked. Everyone jumped . "Nothing !" They shouted. That's not suspicious at all.
Kayla's P.O.V.
"Oh yeah right now lemme get the sign thoee." Bria said going upstairs. I started eating some watermelon.
"Y'all got any chocolate ?" Lourdy asked going to the top shelf. She moved one of the flour pots and was scrimmaging around and a ring box fell out. She gasped.
"Kayla!" She shouted. "Shit man ." I said picking it up and putting it in my pocket. "What tf is that?" She asked. "Nothing man." I said.
"What's nothing?" Amira and Cam asked walking into the kitchen. "Kayla bouta propose." Lourdy's non secretive ass said. "Oh my God ! Lemme see." She said jumping up and down. I groaned. "Dude really." I said looking at Lourdy. She laughed, "I wanna see too." I rolled my eyes and took the box out.
I opened it up. "Damn!"Lourdy said trying to keep quiet.
"What are you guys looking at? " I heard Bria ask. I quickly closed the box when everyone screamed , "Nothing." I put it in my pocket and turned to see Bria giving my a questioning look. "Mhmmm" She mumbled. "Here" She said passing the key to the gate and the poster.
Lourdy was smiling and took the poster and walked out. Amira and Cam were sitting on the couch. Of course Amira was sitting on Cam's lap. "What was y'all looking at." Bria asked me squinting her eyes at me. "Nothing ma chill." I laughed. "Mhmmm" She mumbled again.
"Here put your shirt on. " She said handing me my shirt. We were both wearing khaki joggers. Mine were baggy her's fit her butt oh so nicely.
She put her shirt on over her tank top. She had on Spider-Man like Jeremy and I had on Super-Man like Jhene. Bria told me she laiid out tan cargos for Jeremy and tan shorts for Jhene. We was all wearing white converse.
"Aww look at you." She said slapping my chest. "I mean shiiid." I said getting cocky. I even popped my imaginary collar.
She laughed at me. "You are so ugly." She said laughing at me.
"Bria ! People showing up. " Lourdy shouted. She was wearing a Batman shirt. It had Birthday Auntie on the back.
"I'll be right back " She told me going out.

The party has been going for about a few hours. The sun was setting but it was Friday so it was still packed. We were about to sing Happy Birthday.
"Come on Kay we bouta start." Bria said slapping my shoulder. I got up and followed her to a table she set up. She stood behind Jhene and fixed Jenny's hair a little bit. She's been jumping in the jumper all day. I put my hands on Jermaine's shoulders. He looked up and smiled at me. I smiled back of course. People were taking pictures left and right.
"Okay okay let's start." Lourdy said. Then everyone started singing.
During them singing I really thought about my family. Bria and the twins mean so much to me. I don't know where I would be without them. I need to hurry up and propose.
So as soon as they finished I called for attention.
"Aye ! Aye ! I got something to say. " I shouted. Everyone looked at me. Bria looked lost.
I walked her over to the side a little. We were in the big patch of grass. I peeped Lourdy recording.
"Brianna Davidson, you mean the world to me. You blessed me with two beautiful children and were always there for me when i felt alone. I went my whole life thinking it was me against the world, but you gave me that person that I felt was actually on my side.." I said. She looked up at me like she was about to start crying.
I then went down on one knee. She immediately covered her mouth with her hands. I laughed. "I need one of your hands." I said. I was nervous af.
She smiled and gave me one as tears started falling out her eyes.
"Will you make me the happiest person in the world, and marry me?" I asked opening the ring box. She started crying alot harder. She nodded her head real fast.
I slid the ring on her finger and stood up and she attacked me in a hug and a kiss. I heard everyone cheering and the twins ran over to us. They joined our hug.
"I told you you guys were getting married." Jeremy said.
I smiled at him.
"FREEZE" We heard someone yell in a deep voice. Everything moved so fast and next thing I know I was on the floor being handcuffed.
I heard the twins yelling Daddy and Bria shouting. They picked me up and I saw that one of the police officers had picked up Jermaine. "Aye!! Put him down!!" I shouted. Bria was about to charge at the cop and then another one came and grabbed her. She started kicking. "Put me down!" She screamed. "Stop fighting baby it'll only make it worse." I shouted at her as they started to take me out my backyard.
Just as soon as they were gonna put me in the car Bria ran up and grabbed me. She gave me a kiss. "I love you baby so much." She cried. "I love you too baby girl, take care of the kids" I replied giving her another kiss. She was crying her eyes out as they put me in back of the car. I saw the twins run up. Bria picked up Jhene and Jhene looked like she was crying her eyes out. Jermaine was hiding his face in Bria's belly.
I kept my head up as they pulled the car away.
Fuck man.
