Bria's P.O.V.
We all stormed into the police station. Amira and Cam stayed home to watch the twins. We busted into Officer Brown's office. He jumped.
"Why did Kayla get arrested ." I shouted. I was half sad and half pissed tf off. "Calm down Brianna" He said. "Fuck calm down! Why was Kayla arrested? None of her rights were said to her AND they barged onto her property without addressing themselves" I said slamming his desk. He looked at me and then at the police files. He was going pretty fast, so I know he's checking if what I said was true. He automatically sighed. "Though what you said was true Bria, Kayla is wanted for Drug Reproduction, Selling of Drugs , and well to make it simpler pimping out girls." He said to me.
See I told her to stop with this shit.
I took a seat in front of his desk and let it all soak up. "How long would she be in jail? Or can we get a her a lawyer." I asked. "If you do get her a lawyer. He better be a pretty damn good one. We have evidence , paperwork, and even a witness. " He said. "What witness!" I asked. "Now Briana you know I can't give out that information." He replied. I bit my lip, something I do when I'm nervous and turned my head to see Alex looking back at me.
"Can I talk to her?" I asked. "The witness?" Mr. Brown asked. "No! Kayla.." I responded. He sighed and nodded his head. I got up quickly as he started directing his way to the door. I followed him.
He took me to the holding cell where Kayla was with her head in her hands. She was already in a jumpsuit. "Why is she dressed like that?" I asked. "Cause once I'm done with this paperwork she's off to jail where there gonna keep her til her court date." He said.
Kayla lifted her head up and saw me.
"10 minutes." He said before walking away.
"Baby." I said starting to cry as I hugged her. "It's okay baby girl." She said hugging me back tighter. She calls me baby girl when were having an emotional moment.
I didn't wanna let go.
After wasting about 5 minutes just hugging , Kayla slowly pulled away. "Where's the kids" She asked me. Her face looked flushed. "There at home. It was really late, I shoulda brought them , I-I didnt know you were gonna-" I cried then just gave up on trying to talk. "It's okay, I don't want them to see me like this. I call them tomorrow." She said drying my tears.
"Okay" I mumbled. "Cmere princess." She said grabbing my hand and walking to the bench. She put me on my lap.
"You got that ring on your finger now alright. So when you walking around you not just representing yourself but you representin both of us, aight? You can't be all depressed and in yo feelins all the time. Matter of fact you need to be better than before, cause your grinding for the both of us. It aint no you and it aint no I, it's us and we. You hear me?" She said to me . I nodded. "Ima need for you to take care of my babies too. Don't let this affect them in any way negative, aight? " She added.
"I know why I'm here and I know I shoulda listen to you when you told me to stop, but Ima just work my way threw this." She finished. She was looking at all the different parts of my face.
"Talking bout why you here, I heard you got a snitch on your crew, best believe Ima be all in that. I ain't no one do this to you and think they can get away with it." I told her. She smiled at me. "Look at my little thug." She laughed. I laughed with her. "Gimme a kiss. " She said.
And so I did. I gave her the most passionate loving kiss . I gave my everything into that kiss.
I didn't want to pull away. Then I heard keys hit the bars. "Alright enough, it's time to go." We heard Mr. Brown say. I did as told.
I pecked her lips one more time before another cop came and handcuffed her again. "I love you baby girl." She said. "I love you too , I'll see you real soon." I replied.
She was then taken out threw the back and to the bus to jail I believe. I pulled the sleeves of my sweater further down my hands. Alex came up and wrapped his arms around me and took me to the car.
