Bria's P.O.V.
It's been 4 days since Kayla got locked up. I'm off today and the kids got school. I had dropped them off as usual.
Kayla calls them like clockwork every night at 6 before dinner. She told them that she did something bad and has to go away for a little bit.
We gon figure out how long a little bit is this Saturday. Her court date. I've been tryna keep myself busy, so i dont sit around and mope over it. I got her the best lawyer possible and he is tryna figure out who snitched. Best believe Ima take care of that myself.
I was on my way to Alex's house.
Since he's been ignored for a minute let me tell you about him.
It was about 5 years ago. He was gonna propose to Melanie while they were at dinner. He set up this whole beach thing. It had candles and a violin player, the works.
But before he even got the chance to she told him she got accepted to Princeton to become a doctor. As you can tell this isn't an everyday thing for that to happen so he let her go.
He was depressed, but he did propose before she got on the plane. She of course said yes. She then got sad that she had to wait but they are. Right after she graduates the will be having their wedding.
I parked into Melanie and Alex's house.
I got out with my purse and used my extra key to get it. Don't ask.
"Aleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeex" I shouted closing the door. "Hey" He said in the kitchen. He was making a protein smoothie. He is so serious on his exercising. He's been doing that to distract himself from Melanie not being here. They skype alot thoee.
I took a seat on the counter. "What's up?" He asked drinking his smoothie. "Nothing just stressed." I said. "I would be too with everything going on. Did they tell you how everythings going." He asked. "Do they ever?"I replied. He smiled and shook his head.
"Hows Mel?" I asked. "She's good she graduates in a few months, Ima fly out there." He said. "Did you guys get the reception hall and all that." I asked. "Of course Mel did. She's been planning this since we started dating. " Alex smiled.
"Awww " I cooed. "Maybe she can help me with mine. " I added looking down at my ring. Kayla wants to get married as soon as she gets out.
"Awww look at us. Getting married and shit." Alex said. I laughed and shook my head.
"I remember when you first meet Melanie at the grocery store. You lucky I needed pads." I laughed a him. "And I remember when you met Kayla, when you cared about your grades." He laughed too. "Ayee I went back , and got it done." I replied. "True " He said raising his cup to me. I laughed.
"Hows the twins?" He asked. "Jeremy is getting bratty. Jhene is still very over energetic." I said. "You really gotta check that out sis, cause I don't know with her. She coulda gotten ADHD like this dude right here." He said raising his hand. "You think?" I asked thinking how Jhene is just always hyper.
He nodded. "I might." I mumbled checking my watch. "I think I'm bouta head to go see Kayla." I said getting off the counter. "Alright." He said giving me a hug and kissing the top of my head. "Be careful." He said. "You too." I said before walking out his house.

I pulled up in front of the Women's Correctional Facility.
I left all my extra stuff in the car and just grabbed my keys, phone, and wallet. I got out the car and walked in.
They checked me and then directed me to wear the visitors stay. I sat there and put my stuff on the table and played with my keys.
Then they brought Kayla out. She smiled at me, I smiled back. They took her handcuffs as she stopped right next to me. I automatically hugged her. She hugged me back then gave me a kiss. Then we sat down.
"How are you in here? Is everything okay? You ain't got a problem with nobody right? Cause I can get arrested too and fuck somebody up." I said whispering the last part. She laughed at me and shook her head. "You something else baby girl." She smiled. I smiled again. "I'm good baby don't even stress over how I am here." She said. "What you mean don't stress. I've been trying this case since you got locked up." I said. "Awww look at my wifey." She said leaning in. I started blushing and looked down.
"How are my babies?" She asked. I groaned. "What?? They acting up?" She said sitting up straight. "Not acting up to say, but this has affected them, Jeremy more than anything. " I said. She just sighed. "Annnd there was also this thing that Alex said earlier." I said. "What ? " She asked. "He thinks Jhene could have ADHD." I mumbled. "Excuse me?" She said. "She could have ADHD." I said. "Nah man and dont say she could. She's perfectly fine. She dont need no types of pills no none of that." Kayla snapped. "It was just.. okay." I mumbled.
If you can't already tell that Kayla is sensitive to this subject cause Kayla herself is bipolar and has anger issues. That she needs to take pills for to calm down.
"Anyways." She said. "Yeah." I replied "I talked to your lawyer and the minimum you can get is 5 months and then-" "Enough about that man lets talk about something that I'm looking forward too." Kayla said cutting me off. I stopped talking and looked at her. "What?" I asked. "Our wedding man quit playing." She said grabbing my hand. She looked at my ring. "You like it?" She asked.
"I love it." I whispered looking at it with her.
She kept looking at it and massaged my hand.
"So you gonna do it ?" She asked. "Do what? " I said. "The thing we talked about last visit. " She said.
I sighed and thought about it.
"There's alot going on Kay.." I said. "Bria you know how bad I want this." She said grabbing my hands. I sighed, "Why could you always get what you want." She smiled , "Because."
I looked down at my belly.
