"Cooper, how did you know about Gabi? Did someone call you?" I ask the thought just coming to mind.

"I saw the missing persons report you guys sent out and when I tried to track her cell it was off." He says his knuckles whitening as they bridged over the steering wheel. "What I should be asking is why no one called me."

"Last time we had heard from you was at Elliot's engagement and you weren't exactly happy with any of us." I say trying my best to look away from him, but even out the corner of my eye I could see him tensing even more.

"That doesn't mean I wouldn't be there for her if she needed me." He growls.

"Look I didn't mean to piss you off..."

"Well you did. I mean at the party when I had heard Gabi talking with Josh about how she wanted him instead of me I went crazy. Did you know that they had kissed? That she cheated on me while we were still together? It's one thing to leave someone and... and..
another thing to just..." He says continuing to slow over turns.

What was I supposed to say. I knew about Gabi having a hard time deciding between Josh and Cooper, but I had thought she had choosen Cooper.

"Cooper, I thought she chose you." I confess. "She never told me she had kissed Josh or that she was going to choose him over you."

"Yeah right."

"What reason would I have to lie? You and Gabi were great together. You treated her so well, took her to exotic places and I know you really loved her but..."

"But I'm no Josh."

I couldn't help but feel pity for him. He loved Gabi and I know Gabi loved him, but Gabi also loved Josh.

"Sophia, Josh, Cooper.. Can you read me?" The radio sounds from the dash. "We found a Jane Doe matching your friends description. she's being taken the the county hospital now and should be there in about 20 minutes."

"I'll be there." Josh says, clearly still in the helicopter for it was very hard to hear him.

"Sophia and Cooper, you two should keep looking, it might not be her. I also have 15 other officers on the road looking for Gabriella. We will find her. A tracking dog is also being used but it may not be of much help. Radio in if you see anything out of the ordinary. " He finished and I can almost here the creepy smile on his lips.

"Yes sir." I say into the radio.

"That guy has the hots for you." Cooper says with a wink trying to lighten the mood.

"And it maybe would have worked if I was 30 years older and unbelievably desperate." I say almost laughing.

It had been the first time in days that I had cracked even the smallest of smiles. It only made me ache for Gabi more. I needed to see her smile again. I need her to make me smile again.

We are on our way Gabi. We will find you.
