GABI
"Josh?" I faintly mumble as I try to surpress the headache that now fills my entire mind."Gabs, Gabs it's me. Everythings ok, everything is fine you're safe now." He says softly as he squeezes my hand.
Then suddenly it was as if he was drifting away. I tried to pull him closer but my fingers wouldn't budge.
"Josh can you hear me?" I try to say, but no words leave my mouth.
"Gabi, don't talk . They said not to talk. Just listen. I'm hear." He says feeling again closer. "I'm not leaving your side I'm..."
Then he was gone and I was alone once again.

I forced myself to pull over to the side of the road. I needed time to think. I needed to not have Sophia's body in the corner of my eye.
If I were to just dump her body out here they would know it was me. They know I was the last one to see her, the last one with her.
I can't be a witness to a crime, not with Gabi's car's paint still embedded on my front bumper.
I can't ditch the car, I know Josh would notice that.
I can't bring Sophia back because I know she would tell everyone what I had done.
I need a plan. I need a new plan.
JOSH
"When can I see her?" I ask the receptionist once again.
"Sir, like I said you're not family, you can't see her, not at this time."
"Dammit!" I half scream to the room.
The young women stares at me with the most evil of looks.
"Sir don't make me get security.." she says with more roughness then I would have thought possible from someone her size.
"You don't understand." I say in a more understanding tone.
"I do, but if I let you back there I could lose my job." She said the kindness returning to her voice.
"I know. I'm sorry. I just need to know if she's ok. She's my girl---."
I stopped myself from finishing the sentence. She wasn't my girlfriend, was she? We never talked about it.. but I have to see her and if that means I have to lie then...
"We're engaged, I proposed last month doesn't that count for something?"
