COOPER
White hot anger struck through me. I couldn't stop my skin from pulsating and squeezing my every tense muscle. But I can't kill Sophia, because then I could never have Gabi.
I quickly open the back door to the car and grab black duct tape and then I remembered that I had packed something else. Something that could be the key to me getting out of this mess.
JOSH
"OFFICER CAN YOU HEAR ME?" I shout into the walkie, now standing outside the hospital, knowing I wouldn't get a signal inside.
"Yes, is this Josh? I thought you found Gabriella?"
"I did shes here at the hospital, but now we can't find her friend Sophia or Cooper. Have you seen them?"
"I have not, I just arrived back here at the station. They could be on their way to you."
"They aren't answering their walkie."
"I will tell my officers to keep an eye out."
"Damn kids gettin lost, stupid..."
I could tell he didn't mean for me to hear the last part because as he spoke it became less and less easy to hear.
It was then that my phone rang.
