Then I woke up. Still inside the stiffling hot car, my sides aching from laying on the seat belts that now dug into my sides.
I forced my eyes shut hoping for the dream to once again coarse through my veins but it was no use.
I was still stuck in the woods, laying in the back seat of a car, unable to walk very far and from looking out the cars smashed windows it was nearing sunset, but then I saw a bright light near the road.
SOPHIA
"Josh, can you hear me?" I radio in as both Cooper and I await an answer. "Josh?"
"Maybe he hasn't gotten to the hospital yet? " He says with an ounce of hope.
"Maybe it isn't her." I say with a sob.
