Lestat's POV (continued)

Today I feel lost which is strange because I have never felt like this before. I kept asking myself, why are you being like this?. My conscience was right too. I should have never got involved with Emily like I did. No sooner had I came out of deep thought when a familiar face came in to view. I looked up (I was sitting on the ground) and it was Emily.

Lestat: Oh my god... where have you been, I've erm... been worried about you

Emily: Calm down Lestat I had to go to the doctors... I'm so sorry I should've told you yesterday.

Lestat: Well I'm just glad you're ok!!!

Emily: So am I... I threw up yesterday morning and again this morning.

Lestat: Did you go to the doctors on your own?

Emily: Yes... I always do... why?

Lestat: I could've gone with you... for you know... support like!

Emily: Lestat when we're in the library later there will be something I have to tell you!

Lestat:... Ok

And with that, I got up off the ground and walked with Emily to class. However, nothing could occupy my mind more than what it was she wanted to tell me. In actual fact and for the first time in my immortal life, I was completely terrified. All kinds of questions began to spin round in my head. It got to a point where I had to leave the room and take five minutes. 5 minutes turned into 10 minutes and so on and so forth. Before you knew it, class was over and me being me, I felt guilty about missing it.

A few hours later...

I waited for Emily outside the library like I normally did when (out the corner of my eye), I noticed Shannon picking on her again. Funny thing is... I wanted to rip Shannon's throat out so bad but I knew I couldn't so I just warned her to back off.

Shannon: You're taking her side... why?

Me: That is non of your business... just leave her alone, you have been warned!

Shannon: Excuse me?

Me: Oh come off it Shannon, you heard what I said

Shannon: You've been seeing more of her lately, don't I mean anything to you?

Me: Like I said Shannon it's non of your business!!

Shannon: FINE!

Me: Rakastan Emily... do you understand?

Shannon: no cause I don't speak that language... only Spanish and English

Me: Me encanta Emily now so back off!!!

Having known what I had said to her, Shannon walked away without looking back at me. Emily and I then went to the library as normal, picked out a book to read and sat down at our usual place. I couldn't help but notice that she was just sitting there with red cheeks.

Me: Emily?

Emily: You said to Shannon that you loved me

I was completely frozen... How did she know what I had said in my father's language!!!

Me: How did you know what I said?

Emily: I was born in Finland and spent 10 years of my life there... Lestat?

Me: Kyllä?

Emily: Minäkin rakastan sinua Lestat

She hesitated for a second before whispering in my ear...

Emily: Olen raskaana!

Lestat: Oikeasti?

Emily: Kyllä!
