Vlad was astounded to see Ingrid's old boyfriend, had she known about this?

No, she couldn't have, she would have told him.

Yet Vlad couldn't get rid of the suspicion that Ingrid had known.

"Why were you expecting Ingrid?" Vlad asked, now used to the idea of talking to the undusted.

Will looked down at his feet, "They said they were tricking her, she'd come here to get me. And then we'd all be trapped. All the Draculas, beginning with you."

Vlad had been in danger before, it wasn't anything new, but it angered him that the council wanted to hurt his own family.

They stood in silence, staring at each other for a moment until Will spoke, "Is Ingrid ok?"

"Yeh, she got a dose of garlic gas."

"Wha!" Will hushed himself, "You said she was ok?"

Vlad grinned slightly, which surprised him, "Dad knocked her out to keep her safe."

Will looked confused, but he trusted Vlad now that he'd also been captured, so as long as Ingrid was safe he was fine.

Vlad surveyed the rest of the cell, getting a slight peek at Will's through the small window, "How do we get out?"

Will shook his head, "We have to wait until guards are in here too, otherwise they'll turn on the sprinklers."

"And how long until they come down here again?" Vlad didn't think many would want to come down to this place. It was damp and smelt like garlic.

"I've been in here for about two nights, they never came. Except of course to bring you in."

"What about food? Blood? The loo?"

Will laughed, "You'll find rats every now and again, and just hold on."

Vlad joined in on the laughter but was stopped when a voice on a loudspeaker shouted, "Shut up in there!" and they both fell silent.

Vlad would not be home by morning.

(Ingrid's POV)

Ingrid used one hand to throw fireballs at the slayer while she gripped onto Will with the other.

Will whispered to her, "I'm going to end this."

She ducked as she dodged a sun gun ray, Ingrid looked at Will, "No! It's too dangerous, just stay down until its over!"

Will shook his head and gave her a sweet smile, then jumped away from the table they were behind.

Ingrid let out a cry as Will formed a fire ball in his hand, but he was too slow, the slayer hit him with the gun.

"WILL!" Ingrid screamed at the top of her lungs as she saw the silver pile of dust where Will had stood.

"WILL!"

Ingrid woke up, banging her head against the coffin, true tears streaming down her eyes.

The coffin lid opened when she clicked her fingers and she say scrunched up, crying.

"Will..." She remembered that fight when she had lost him.

Her coffin room door opened and in ran the Count, "Ingrid, what's wrong?" he bent over the coffin walls, hugging his daughter.

"Just a dream... just a dream," she rocked her self back and forth, holding onto his arms.

"What was just a dream? Tell me, it will help."

"Will... dust."

The Count sighed, realising what, or more to the point; who, she had dreamed about, "I know, I know, you'll be alright."

"Yes, I'll have him back, soon," she wiped away the tears from her face, but smelt the garlic on her breath and rememberd everything, "Vlad!"

She quickly got out of her coffin and put her coat on.

"Ingrid not now! You can't go, he said you have to stay here where you're safe!"

"No! He'll get staked all because of me! That was the deal! Will in exchange for Vlad!"

Ingrid was turning into her bat form when the Count finally understood, "Please stay, he can use his powers! He'll be fine," he said.

But Ingrid could sense doubt in his voice. She changed into a bat fully and started flying out the open window when she was attacked by another bat. She felt her wings being scratched as she struggled to change back to her human self.

When she did, she could feel her arms stinging as they continued to be torn by the attacker.

Only when her normal vision returned could she make out it was. Who the attacker was.

Adze.

Her father was no where to be seen. Had he fled, shocked, when he'd seen Adze? Or had she done something to him?

Ingrid didn't have time to consider what might have happened, she had to fight for her unlife.

But she didn't have the strength, the garlic was still in her system. She felt something sharp against her calf.

And feeling that she stupid for letting it happen to her again, Ingrid passed out... again.
