Robin stopped dead in his tracks. He'd been running in the direction the vampires had taken his friends.
He couldn't see any traces of vampires or bats. Great.
"If I were a vampire, where would I go?" He thought to himself, opening his cape, "Mwa haha I am Count Robin of... Rome! I live in a stinky old castle!" He grinned. A castle, duh.
Robin ran into the nearest tourist centre, he began flicking through pamphlets looking for nearby castles.
And there it was. He ripped out a page which gave information on a medieval castle.
He read out loud, "Visitors welcome for tea and a bite to eat," He chuckled, "Count Robin invites all to his castle, all who wish to be drained of their blooood!"
Robin received a strange look from a lady and he quickly scurried away.
He took a bus to a country road, from there he walked a short distance and spotted a beautiful castle on a hill.
"Count Robin returns to his home after a fruitful night of blood and gore," he approached the doors and was about to knock, "The Count does not need permission to enter!" He pushed open the large oak doors and stepped in.
"Hello?" Robin didn't have a plan, so he just went with anything, "Juicy breather over here, anyone gonna come?"
Lights flickered and burst to life, lighting up a hallway. Robin walked down it and through an arch into a dining room. It was decorated grandly, fit for a king. A vampire king.
"What the heck?" Was all Robin could say. Vlad, Ingrid, Will and Erin were sitting around the table, happily talking to five stranger vampires.
Robin recognised some as the ones who had taken them in the first place.
"Robin!" Vlad signalled him to an empty seat. The five strangers looked at him longingly but resisted.
One of them spoke, "Apologies, we would have saved you the trouble of travelling, but we needed to bring the baby first."
"That's alright," he sat down, "Don't you want to suck my blood?"
"Yes-" a lady vampire started, but Vlad stared her down, "No..." She finished.
"Alright then!" Robin clapped his hands together, "What are we talking about?"
"Slayers. Vlad's mind wipe has completely disappeared," Ingrid explained, "He needs to do it again."
"I won't," Vlad said.
"You'd just rather we all got staked!" Ingrid was very annoyed at her brother.
"I won't mind wipe that many people! It's unfair and abuses my power!"
"You sound like a breather!"
"Alright. Change the subject!" Robin ordered, smiling, "What is this place an who are you guys?" He spoke to the five vampires.
The lady replied, "My name is Cecelia, I lead the resistance, these are my soldiers."
"Resistance to what?" He asked.
"The vampires that are striving for power. We shouldn't be fighting amongst ourselves. When the resistance takes control, we will put strict rules in place. And we need the chosen one's help."
"But.." Robin grinned cheekily, "Doesn't that make you guys vampires striving for power?"
There were a few groans from around the room.
Then there was banging from outside, Cecelia stood up, "That will be the slayers."
