Erin held onto Vlad tight, he was sweating and shaking violently as he relived memories in his dreamworld. Erin wouldn't let anyone hurt him, they would have to go through her first.

The vampires formed a circle around them, one vampire, obviously their leader, stepped forward.

"Give us the Chosen One and no one gets hurt," he growled.

"No!" She shouted. Erin's voice was deep and loud, she recognised it. It was like Vlad's chosen one voice, except more... girly.

The vampires stepped backwards slightly, Erin's voice emitting power.

The leader didn't budge, though. He was stronger than the rest, "He is a member of the high council, we do not want him hurt, we only need him to come back to the head quarters."

Erin bared her fangs, hissing, wrapping her arms tighter around Vlad.

"I gave you a choice...." The leader said calmly and he raised his hand as a signal. Every vampire in the circle pulled a stake out of their cloaks and held them, ready to strike.

"Is he dead?" Vlad heard his father's voice ringing through the room.

Vlad couldn't see anything, he realised that his eyes were closed. But he daren't open them, something felt familiar, but frightening as well.

"I don't know," he heard Ingrid this time, "And I don't care!"

Where was he? When was he? Vlad dozed off for a moment, lost in thought. He couldn't believe what was happening, what he thought was happening. His worst memory, back to haunt him.

Vlad heard Ingrid again, "From now on, you shall call me Countess Dracula!"

Vlad opened his eyes and got up, "Ingrid!" He would stand up to her, even if it was just in a dream world.

Ingrid's victorious face turned to pure shock.

The Count clapped from inside the UV cage, "Well done, Vladdy! Now finish her off!"

Vlad shook his head, "Ingrid you can be head of the family, I don't care!"

Ingrid stared at him, surprised, tying to figure out what was in it for him, "I already am!"

"Then let dad out, or there won't be any family for you to be head of!" Vlad pointed to his father. He saw his tiny finger and realised he was in his younger body.

"No!" Ingrid shouted, "He can rot and be fed to the rodents!"

Vlad churned up all the power inside of him, "Then I have only one choice," he let all his power engulf him and shouted in his loudest chosen one voice, "Go!!"

Ingrid flew back, the scene turned to mist, changing before Vlad's very eyes.

He woke up in Erin's arms, wet with sweat, still screaming, "Go!"

The vampires flew backwards like they had hit an invisible force field, some turned to dust on impact and the rest hurriedly turned to bats and flew off.

Erin was staring at Vlad, she couldn't believe his sudden return to reality, the power he'd portrayed.

"Erin!" He clicked his fingers infront of her stunned face.

She blinked and moved closer, her lips meeting his.

"Did they hurt you?" He pulled away and looked at her, concerned.

"No," she smiled, "They would have, but once again you saved the day."

Vlad returned the smile then stood up, "Let's go, I want to get away from this place."

"But Vlad, don't you want to, I don't know, face your fears?" She challenged him. She had to do so, because maybe they'd be in a situation like this again, and maybe next time he wouldn't wake up.

"No, you saw what just happened when I tried..." Vlad stopped when he saw a figure in the corner of his eye.

The figure approached, it was a guy about twenty years old, he was in a university blazer, but the strange thing was that he was wearing a black cape. A vampire cape.

The figure spoke, "Vlad?" He enthusiastically approached, "I knew you'd come back! I knew it!"

Vlad recognised him immediately.

It was his old friend.

Robin.
