Ingrid and Will flew all around the suburb, biting two or three breathers each.

They were feeling very pleased at finally having a good drink.

"Do you hear it?" Will asked, telepathically. His bat sensors had picked up a high frequency noise, coming from the city.

"Yes," Ingrid heard it too, "Do we follow it? It could be anything."

"No. It might be slayers pulling us in. Lets go home," Will turned around and began flying away from the sound.

Ingrid wanted to check it out. She let him go, let him think that she was following, then she flew to the ground and turned back to herself.

"I'll find out what it is," she told herself. Using vampire speed she sped into the heart of London, following the sound.

"Wow," there was a huge vampire gathering in the park. Hundreds of bats surrounded the perimeter while groups of vampires mingled on the ground.

She was allowed to enter, and she sped to a group of friendly looking, young vampires.

"Hi!" One girl said, she looked about seventeen, "Looking for a friend?"

Ingrid was taken aback by the girls friendliness, but she thought it a good idea to see if Erin and Malik were here. There must have been about seven hundred vampires if you included the bats.

"Umm, yes actually. Erin Noble, do you know her?"

"Everyone knows Erin! But it must have been a while since you last saw her, didn't you know? She's married," the girl replied.

Ingrid was very much surprised, to Malik? Or had she left him?

"Who is she married to?" Ingrid asked.

"Malik, of course. You really should get in on the gossip!"

Ingrid forced a laugh, "Yeh... Where are they?"

The girl looked at Ingrid, slightly suspicious. Suddenly Ingrid didn't feel so welcome.

"In the tent," the girl replied.

"Thankyou," Ingrid said and she hurried off.

Ingrid was stopped in her tracks by Will, he pushed her into a tree.

"What were you thinking!" He shouted at her, loud, but not loud enough for others to hear, "I was so worried! What if it was slayers!"

"But it isn't!" She struggled to get out of Wills grip, but he held her tight against the tree.

"You could get staked! Do you know what kind if vampires come to this party?! Don't be so silly, Ingrid! This isn't a game, it's serious!"

Ingrid felt tears in her eyes, it'd been a long time since she'd been talked to like this, "Im sorry, Im sorry..."

He let his grip go and she sped behind him.

"Don't disappear again," he turned around and hugged her.

"I know where Erin and Malik are," she whispered in his ear, "They're in that tent."

Will held onto Ingrid and sped back to the cottage.

She felt like she was being pulled through a portal, he went that fast.

"We can't just walk up to them without a plan, it's too dangerous."

"Why did you bring us back? We had them!" Ingrid shouted at him.

"You're too careless, Ingrid! You said yourself she could be as powerful as Vlad was!" He counter attacked the yelling.

"Still! We've missed a chance now!"

The Count came in to break them up, he had blood on his lips from a meal, "Calm down, you two! Tell me what happened."

They sat down, grudgingly, and explained.

"I see. Will is right," The Count began, "We can't take them on tonight, and especially not when they have all their friends around them."

"There's more," Ingrid said, "They're married."

The Count let out a long, loud laugh, "You're joking! Those evil brats."

"It's true," Ingrid looked longingly at Will. But he didn't return the gaze.

"Hmm, Vlad can never know. We sacrifice one and dust the other," the Count said sternly.

"Alright," Will said, looking at te ground. He was angry at Ingrid for going off. Maybe he shouldn't have yelled at her, but she deserved it.

The Count sensed tension and left the room.

"I'm sorry I went without telling you. Or going with you. I'm sorry for whatever you're angry about. Ok?" She went and sat next to him on the couch.

"It's alright, Im sorry for yelling at you. I just don't want anything to happen to you," he put his arm around her.

"Can we make a plan now?"

"It's only been... what, ten minutes since we got back."

"I know... I just want to get it done."

"We know where they are now. We know they hang around in a group. Lets not rush into it."

Ingrid made a whining sound, "But I want to get them noooow!"

They laughed for a moment.

"Alright, tomorrow," she settled.

The full moon reached the middle of the sky and they heard a long howl.
