Ingrid, Will and Wolfie were about to open the front door when there was a knock on the other side.
"I wonder who it is?" Ingrid thought out loud.
"Probably someone trying to sell us a vacuum," Will joked.
The person behind the door replied, "I can hear you! And it's Vlad."
Ingrid opened the door and embraced her brother, they shared one feeling the others couldn't understand, losing their father.
"Are you alright" he asked her.
"Yeh," she forced away any tears that were trying to break free, "But how'd you get here so fast?"
Vlad pulled away and boasted, "I still have my powers!" He said it with humour yet Ingrid still felt jealous.
"You lucky little...."
Erin appeared beside Vlad, she had a shopping trolley coming up behind her with Artur and five bags of supplies in it.
"You too?" Ingrid asked, pained with longing.
"Yep," Erin smiled, "And Artur."
"That is so unfair."
"Come inside," Will motioned them in and Wolfie merrily pushed the trolley inside.
"We brought you some shopping," Erin picked up one bag in particular, it wasn't see through, but it rustled, "This one is full of breather money, must have at least a hundred thousand."
Ingrid was grabbed it, "Thanks!" She had never held that much money before.
Will took it from her, "We could get a nice car... but how did you guys get it?"
Vlad simply smiled, "Hypnotism."
They all sat down at the kitchen table, except Artur who sat on Wolfie's lap.
"Are we going to go get the blood mirror?" Vlad asked.
"There wouldn't be much of a mirror left," Ingrid complained.
"I know, but we thought bringing back the dusted was impossible, yet it was done," Vlad said.
Will shuddered at the thought that he was once dust.
"You mean we might be able to fix it?" Ingrid asked eagerly.
"Maybe..." Vlad hoped they could.
"It would be worth a try," Erin said, "And a mission like that would make life interesting."
Artur started crying. Erin left and took him into another room.
"I think we owe it to dad," Vlad frowned.
"Yeh, we'll try our best," Ingrid smiled.
Erin sped back, Artur was still raging on.
"Sorry guys but we need to go home, Vlad," Erin interrupted, "All the baby stuff is there."
Vlad got up, "Oh alright. I'll come back when we've figured something out."
"See you then," Ingrid lead them out.
Wolfie was slightly annoyed that the visit had been so short, but he calmed down when Will offered to play Scrabble with him.
Ingrid went into the kitchen, realising that it was soon lunch time. She grabbed the four bags of supplies, three were full of delicious foods; she put these in the cupboards. The last one had other necessities like paper towel and tooth paste.
She grabbed a packet of meatballs and placed them in the oven. Then she got out two cans of spaghetti.
"D.U.C.K. Duck," Wolfie spelt out his word.
Ingrid laughed as she put the spaghetti in a fry pan.
"C.A.S.T.L.E. Castle," Will took his turn.
"L.U.N.C.H," Wolfie read and turned in Ingrid's direction, "I'm hungry, when will it be ready?"
"Soon!" She replied. She wished she had vampire powers so she could speed up the process.
"H.A.M.B.U.R.G.E.R. Hamburger," Will teased Wolfie.
Wolfie thought of a word he could make, "R.E.A.L.L.Y. Really, as in I'm really starving."
Ingrid sighed, "I get the point, you two! It's coming!"
They both giggled at her and played for the next fifteen minutes while it cooked.
Ingrid turned off the stove and frypan, and served up the spaghetti and meatballs. It looked really yummy.
Before she let them have it, she went over to the scrabble bored and made the word, "Y.U.M.M.Y. I just made you yummy food so you better be thankful."
"Thankyou!" Will laughed, "Im awfully thankful.
"I'm just hungry," Wolfie hurried over to the table and shoved a meatball in his mouth. With his mouth full he said, "Thwank-oo Ingwid."
She laughed and sat down, so did Will.
They ate happily for about five minutes and then Ingrid felt sick.
Her face turned pale and she ran off into the bathroom, and vomited.
"She mustn't like spaghetti," Wolfie teased, shoving more food in his mouth.
Will smiled and got up, he was about to open the bathroom door but Ingrid did it for him.
"I'm fine," she walked back and sat down at the table.
"Maybe you shouldn't have anymore," Will said, concerned.
"No, it's fine, really," Ingrid had had her suspicions in the last few days. She knew what it was but she didn't know how to tell him.
"If you say so," Will began to eat again.
After lunch Ingrid was about to pick up the plates to wash them, but Will stopped her.
"You need to rest," he took the plates from her and walked over to the sink.
"No," she decided to tell him straight away, "You'll have to get used to it, got another nine months to survive."
He raised his eyebrow, "What do you mean? Are you-"
"Pregnant? Yes, I'm pregnant," Ingrid said.
Will put the plates down and grabbed Ingrid, this was the best news since he'd been undusted, "That's wonderful!"
She smiled, resting her head on his shoulder, "I know..."
"I'm going to call you Mother Bear from now on, he put his hand on her stomach.
"What kind of a name is that?" She laughed, really she loved that name.
"One that suits you perfectly, Mother Bear," he kissed her.
Wolfie coughed, "That's awesome, guys. But I'm in the room, you know."
They laughed and pulled him over for a group hug.
Ingrid was so happy, not only was she getting married, not only did she have a lovely home, but now she would also have a baby. Ingrid secretly hoped that it would be a girl.
