Once inside the suite, Gary made his way to the bathroom to urinate and wash up and then straight to bed and was asleep soon after he lay down. Dream or nightmare soon enveloped. Gary did not move until the alarm clock started buzzing next to him. Having to now get out of bed in order to turn the alarm clock off, Gary then made his way to the kichen to now make his coffee. After drinking much of his first pot of coffee Gary poured himself a tall glass of cold water and swallowed the whole thing before heading into the shower.
Feeling refreshed after the cleansing shower and drying himself, Gary went for a jog to the diner for breakfast. After reaching his destination he rolled himself a smoke, smoking the cigarette before entering the establishment. Gary entered the diner taking his usual seat. Sherry walked over to the table he was sitting at and flipped open the pad to take his order "eggs bennedict?"
"Good memory." Gary responded. Sherry poured a cup of coffee and smiled before leaving the table to return to the kitchen, having a few words with the chef before returning with a refill and Gary's breakfast soon after.
"Harold says his brother is pretty banged up because of you." Sherry sat across from Gary "Can I get details?"
"Nope" Gary began shoveling food into his mouth. Sherry soon got up and left the table to go to serve the other patrons coming in. Later that day Gary discovered the bouncer from the Taven was knocked out in the other lane when he landed on the other side of the van before he and Alisa left the lastnight and was struck by another car soon after they had left.
Upon finishing his meal Gary wondered if he'd need to now find place to eat. Only a passing thought as he went to pay his tab. The skinny kid behind the counter smiled seeing Gary "I for one am almost giddy seeing you here." The nerdy bag of bones spoke with the most pleasent aura "Bill used to steal my lunch money rather forcefully all the way from grade school to graduation." Jack then introduced himself "We'll see you around, thanks."
Gary left the diner wondering what these folk were talking about, he exhaled after taking in a large breath of oxygen. Then after walking a few steps he rolled himself a cigarette, continuing his journey back before long he was walking briskly having finished his cigarette. A car pulled over just ahead of him, a white Buick Century and the passenger window rolled down, Gary jogged the five strides it took to reach the vehicle and looked inside. "Hello," a woman in her thirties probably "I am going this way, would you like a ride? Climb in, I won't bite."
Caught of guard as Gary was not expecting this at all, he could only reply "thank the heavens, God only knows where your mouth has been." Gary looked over at her smiling "forgive me. Thanks for the ride" he closed the door behind him and buckled in.
"Ha. You're funny." She stated, smiling and showing off her pearly whites, holding out her hand to shake his "Lauren, I'm a dentist, my mouth is very sanitary."
Gary shook her hand "Gary, nice to meet you." Chuckling he continued "I couldn't imagine working with peoples bad breath all day. How do you like the job? Ha ha."
"I went to university specifically for this career. I wanted to be a dentist ever since I was in middle school" Lauren explained. "It is really quite fascinating, the world inside people's mouths." Cringing when explaining about her day today "There was an accident lastnight at the Tavern and a man came in today to get his teeth fixed. His face was run over and I had to put his teeth back together. It was not pretty."
"This is where I get out." Gary did not want to continue this conversation any further.
