"It's a good thing we have this google map thingy here" Andrea admitted. "I don't know the city either," Andrea rolled her window back up and looked for music stores on the monitor "OK babe," she looked in her rear view mirror before pulling into traffic "I got directions now, we're good to go." Gary twisted himself another cigarette and put his window down before lighting it. "So," Andrea coughed "I have to admit those do cover up the smell of your nasty ass. What exactly are you planing to buy now?"
"Well I'm thinking for this new sound I have in mind we are going to need a few Gibson's both acoustic and electric guitars and a Les Paul copy or two" Gary explained. "We are going to also need to purchase a Roland synthesizer and my favorite is actually just the Ibanez Bass guitar." There are some effects pedals also and an electronic drumkit." Gary took a drag from his cigarette "I'm thinking about buying the house we are living in also if Devin will sell it."
"Wow!" Andrea exclaimed. "Anything else?" Shaking her head in disbelief "will you have you anything left in your bank account after that?"
"I should have enough to cover the taxes for a few years," Gary took a long deep pull from his cigarette "I don't know." Gary looked over at Andrea after saying that "I was hoping my lady lawyer love could support us in our old age, if we're to need anything further" Gary smiled at Andrea and gave her a wink. "What do you think of them apples?"
Andrea drove through traffic "I can't..." She stuttered, "I don't know what to say." Taking a deep breathe, "seriously, I'm speechless." After another cough Andrea said "certainly, I am going to take care of you in your old age."
"Ha ha," Gary chuckled, "that's good. I love you so much baby..." taking his final pull off his smoke before putting it out on his shoe and saving the butt to discard when the opportunity presented itself "I think I will even share whatever I have left over to promote you afterwards."
"We're there" Andrea turned off the engine taking the keys from the ignition after parking. "Promote me?" Andrea asked "What exactly do you mean by that?"
"You have an entire lifetime to figure that out," Gary smiled "you'll see, I'll surprise you." Walking around the van to give his sweetheart a kiss before they went on their spending spree "you remember what I wanted? Help me collect those instruments and then choose a few of any others that suite your fancy." Gary kissed Andrea and the two made their way into the store hand in hand. Making a few trips back and forth before everything was loaded into the vehicle. "You know, I'm kind of in the mood for some good stick to the ribs poutine." The two went home to unload the items the'd just bought before going grocery shopping to buy the items it would take to make this artery clogging classic.
"Well this is new and tastey," Andrea remarked after tasting the death defining meal Gary prepared "where did you learn this recipe?"
"It is something I remember from before," Gary explained "many years ago. You can't really go wrong with the recipe, french fries, mozza cheese curds and gravy. I remember a place that added other ingredients and if we are ever to go to Alberta. We're going to Winters for their poutine. Although I am not sure if I can ever do that again." Gary continued "I may just have to fix with the recipe until I have it."
"OK," Andrea laughed "you try to kill us with you're cooking, and I am going to prepare healthy meals to try to prolong our lives."
"Ha ha ha" Gary chucled before a more serious look came over his face looking at Andrea. "Deal and you're looking a bit flushed, ether your blushing..." A big smile crossed his face "or we are pregnant my love."
"It could be both," Andrea smiled "we'll soon know for sure, we'll go get a pregnancy test in a bit or I can pick one up after work tomorrow."
"OK" Gary smiled "I'm going to relax for a bit and let my stomach work through this mess I just put in it," Gary grunted "then I am going to workout for a while before playing some new material on my new guitar." Gary explained "I have it worked out in my head now I need to get it out."
