Gary was enjoying his morning coffee in silence when a groggy and hungover Sherry entered into the dining room. "Where am I? When did I get here? What is this place? Why do I not remember who that is I woke up with? Gary?" Sherry clasped her head in her hands "Wow, what a night, I can't remember a thing. Gary, buddy, answer me" Sherry whined. Gary pointed to the coffee pot, jogging Sherry's brain to work again and that was answer enough for her. Pouring herself a coffee Sherry joined Gary sitting in silence for the next two cups of coffee.
"You're at my place," Gary said "I brought you here lastnight," telling Sherry "this place is my home and yours also now" Gary had a good laugh "You got pretty drunk lastnight and that could be the reason you don't remember picking up Anish at the bar. He now lives here also," Gary explained "time was bent in order for him to live again. He was in a traffic accident yesterday that cost him his life. You must never let him know this or he will dwindle beyond decades in years" Gary explained. "I still remember the first time you served me coffee" Gary mentioned to the back of Sherry.
Turning around "OH how rude of me," taking Gary's cup, she proceeded toward the coffee pot "but this I could have never imagined." Sherry wiped the tears from her eyes "this gives a whole new meaning to being taken advantage of after passing out drunk" she gave a sly giggle.
"Well," Gary accepted his cup of hot coffee and took a drink "Thank you. You remeber how grateful you were when I gave you a place to live after you'd lost your job?" Sherry nodded acknowledging, "And also how you did not know how you'd ever be able to repay me?" Sherry stared at Gary with a blank expression "and you know what is said about Karma," Gary smiled "I think her and I could have been married in my first life." Gary took a drink of his coffee.
"Ha," Sherry laughed scrunching her face, "yes and I am OK with this situation, but Gary you can't just go abducting people."
Gary laughed "Whatever do you mean my dear friend?" Gary looked at Sherry with a puzzled expression "I have nearly a full house of abductees."
"I don't know about you," Sherry said but I'm starved "Do you feed your abductees?"
"I have never brought an abductee to this place before but as I remember, you are a pretty good cook," Gary pointed to the refridgerators and Grill top oven "you did say you needed a new job. You're hired." Gary suggested "I guess we best get some menu's made up?"
Sherry was beside herself when she opened the refridgerator "amazing, Gary. I could kiss you."
Andrea was walking into the kitchen "don't you dare. He's already halfway to being nuetered," she went and got herself a coffee and sat with Gary.
"You took the words right out of my mouth, my love" Gary kissed his wife. Soon after Sylvia and a hungry and groggy lost mob found their way into the kitchen also. Andrea was glad she didn't have to cook for all of these people.
The conversation along the island was pretty well confusion based though the verdict contained was of a beautiful communical nature based on mutual agreement. Afterall many did agree that it was quite a trip worth living for and working toward. Anish was still nearly drunk and asked to be excused early without eating. All residents with the exception of Anish were taken on a tour of the facility, the recording studio was of particular interest and how it was used to fly the craft remotely. Sherry agreed to show Anish around afterwards when she wasn't busy and he wasn't feeling like death warmed over.
It was made clear that this was not to be spoken of outside of the facillity. "This technology will be used to for destruction on day," Gary explained "just not on this day." Gary explained that "This facility is based on food production and delivery. "This is our home and we don't need it tainted by bad blood. Agree?" Everyone was in agreement. Each man was designated a specific duty within the maintenance of the home.
They then went for a coffee break to take the time to absorb the information attained so far. Brothers Kurt and Kirk each took out a package of cigarettes from their vests. "Hey." Gary protested "you can't smoke in here." Going through his mind the draw of a soothing cigarette with a coffee "unless you give me one," Gary concluded "pass that ornimental ashtray my love." Passing Gary the ashtray Andrea looked passed her husband with vengeance in her eyes at the two brothers sending a shiver felt between the both of them.
