Nearly horrified

"You really stink like a skunk on the last few nights you've come to bed, Gary. What's up with that?" Andrea asked husband on his way to the bathroom to shower.

"Ah," Gary considered his wife knew anyway that there was Marijuana involved "it's the damn wacky tobacky I've been smoking before bed with Claire." Gary wasn't going to beat around the bush and knew it would be best to just get it out. "Weed will cause impotency and if there was anything I could do to at least slow the baby making process, I was willing to give it a try." Gary explained.

"Well," Andrea said "you go was that stinky residue and join me in bed," smirking "if you're up to it, we both know now that the baby making process has been haulted" Andrea spoke slyly with a hint of seduction entered their room.

Ah, Gary's thoughts as the water trickled down his body cleansing him, dammit we're out of hot water! Gary emerged cleansed and shocked by the sudden change in temperature, though was not about to wait on the hot water tank to refil. Joining his beautiful wife in bed, cuddling next to her "I never been much for following doctors orders anyway" Gary whispered in Andrea's ear before nibbling at her earlobe.

Weeks later with a log home and a solid log barn built and two more aquaponic greenhouses, plus a nineteen acre clearing for the hobby farm to be situated, which also provided the lumber needed, even a draw bridge was Andrea filed the taxes and the family was connected with a $40, 888.27 tax burden to pay. All Gary could say was "roads don't maintain themselves" and paid the bill "you know we got to pay the pylons to hold up traffic and look pretty" Gary concluded. "It's a good thing the lumber sale has paid for most of the building on the farm otherwise we couldn't afford to buy a few horses this month." Gary stated.

"Actually," Claire stated "I was looking into adopting a horse when I came across a band of thirty one wild horses, if you're interested they're free for the taking. If you can catch them." Claire took a drink of her coffee before opening the notebook "here I'll show you."

"Hmm," Gary pondered "this could be fun. A hell of an interesting ride anyway." Smiling at a long ago memory surfacing, "let's do it!" Gary smacked down his empty coffee cup. "After another coffee and finding a truck and livestock trailer combo to rent."

"Why don't I go and ask John?" Andrea suggested "I'm sure he'd rent his truck for the day." Gary smiled and nodded in agreement. Andrea went next door and John being regaled by the same memories of their youth insisted on also setting up the trailer to be picked up.

Smiling and tossing his head from side to side "You have fun now." John said brimming from ear to ear "I guarantee you," John was in tears laughing "you're coming back with horses. Though," John was momentarily able to contain himself "If you haven't gathered this already," John's laughter was creating stains on his face "your husband is fucking insane." he chuckled. "You're in for one hell of a show." John handed Andrea his keys and directions to collect the trailer.

Andrea entered their kitchen "Yes, John seemed all to eager to offer his truck." Andrea glared with a concerned perplexity "even to set up the trailer rental, just saying to fill the tank before returning his truck" Andrea said. "He was in tears and mentioned we would be returning with horses," Andrea paused "OH and that my husband is insane." Andrea concluded "You're on your own again today, Claire, we'll make sure to get you a nice horse."

"I like the pinto." Claire said

Gary concluded they'd be bringing them all back if able so there will be a pinto in the mix for certain and poured a coffee for the road. "Let's go then my love, we're burning daylight and I'm going to need to get a pouch of tobacco for this journey, I'll show you the insanity John was speaking of another time but I am going to need my wits about me this whole trip and can't be climbing on the back of a wild horse to see how long I can stay on it's back if we're to gather them all." Gary concluded "We are also going to have to get some oats to entice the horses."

The trip to get the trailer was only about twenty minutes closer than the horses were and Gary was clearly prepared now having enough rope to lassoe and lead. After arriving at the location Gary made a tobacco offering to the land before roping the first horse and calming it well enough to lead it with ease. She was a large roan mare, and bonus, her colt followed along with three other curious yearlings, two of which were pinto. Andrea closed the door behind them after they were secured and Gary was out.

"That seemed quite easy," Gary admitted "let's try that again." Andrea stood ready at the gate while Gary rope wrestled with a rather fiesty young stallion who's band stood wondering if they should trample this beast or simply follow. Thankfully the latter was chosen after Gary calmed the horse, leading it and securing it, only to be surprised by another four year old mare who'd wandered into the trailer to sample a taste of the fine grasses growing from Gary's skull, Gary took the opportunity to become aquainted with her before securing her also and the seven other yearling fillies and colts that wandered there was into the fresh smell of hay and oats. Gary exited the trailer, Andrea closed the door behind him "hey we have quite a selection in there already."

"Awesome," Andrea seemed quite tired "can we go then? We'll leave the rest for another person." Just watching you handle those horses was exhausting."

"Yes," Gary said kissing his wife "let's take these horses to their new home" Gary said admitting "that was rather effortless compared." They both entered the truck.

Andrea looked nearly horrified at Gary "why is that? Because you never climbed on ones back and got bucked off. There was a few times those horses reered up and I could only cringe at thought of them stampeding over top of you.

"Hmm? I didn't notice." Gary admitted.

"That's because," Andrea looked at her husband with love in her eyes "you're insane. I'm hungry, we're stopping at the truckstop in Hinton for something to eat." Gary had no complaints.
