Dean's POV

I'm praying to God that Jack believed me about my arm, I can't be dealing with him asking me about why I do it. Because I know he'll find a way of getting me to tell him, and if I tell him, he'll talk to James, and if he talks to James, James will kill me.

"You prick!" Daniel shouted, making me snap back to reality. Jack was laughing.

"You knew I was going to end up there!"

"It's the aim of the game Daniel, pay up." Daniel handed Jack the money and pouted.

"This isn't fair..."

I took my go, not really paying attention to what was happening until Daniel shouted again.

"Fuck you Jack!"

I laughed, Daniel always took board games way too seriously.

"You wanker! I don't have enough!"

"Well, looks like you lose." Jack smirked, I moved back slightly, I could tell what was coming next.

Daniel picked up the cards off the board and threw them at Jack, shortly followed by the entire board. Jack laughed, ducking down. Daniel crossed his arms and scowled.

"I'm not playing anymore."

"Clearly..." I said, gathering up the cards on the floor.

"Well, I think I'm gonna go to bed, Dan you're in the guest room and Dean you're sharing with me if that's okay?" I nodded, still picking up the game pieces, any other time I'd be happy to share a bed with Jack, but not today, he'll almost definitely see my arms, or worse, the bruises and cuts left by James on my back.

"Cool, so I'll see you guys tomorrow, goodnight." Daniel said, I heard his footsteps going up the stairs, signalling that he was gone. I placed the pieces of the game in the box and followed Jack upstairs.

"Um, I'm gonna get changed in the bathroom if that's okay?" I asked, Jack nodded, walking into his room. I went into the bathroom, making sure to lock the door behind me and quickly changed into my pyjamas, I grabbed the blade out of my bag. Just one cut, that's all... I told myself. I pulled the side of my pyjama bottoms down, exposing my hip, I pressed the blade against my flesh and dragged it upwards. I sighed as I felt the blood seep out of the wound. I placed the blade back into my bag and pulled the fabric of my pyjamas over the cut. I walked into the bedroom to find Jack lying in bed.

"You took your time..." He smiled softly.

"Sorry, I just got distracted." I said, abandoning my bag next to the door and climbing into bed next to him. He turned over to face me, staring into my eyes in complete silence, but it wasn't an awkward silence, it was more of a calming silence. We stared at each other for a few minutes before he finally spoke.

"Your eyes are pretty..." He said finally. He turned over and switched the lamp off, plunging us into complete darkness. I was suddenly aware of how tired I was, my eyelids began to close, I was asleep within minutes.

I was trapped in a room with nothing but a chair, not even a doorway, I tried slamming my shoulder into the wall, trying to find a way to escape. I gave up eventually, collapsing onto the chair. James suddenly appeared in front of me.

"You're pathetic. You give up so easily." He said, laughing. I clenched my fists and lunged at him, shoving him to the ground and pinning him down with my arms. He smirked. I raised my fist and punched him in the face, trying to get rid of that stupid smirk on his face, but no matter how many times I punched him, it stayed there. I gave up, rolling over and lying on the floor next to him. I suddenly found myself lying in a field, on the far side, I could see Daniel and Jack running over to me, I ran towards them, rapidly getting closer to them. I was less than a meter away from them when I heard a voice.

"You will never be able to fully get rid of me Dean." I heard James say. I felt a hand grab my ankle and I was pulled down, through the ground, away from Daniel and Jack, I could hear them shouting my name. I screamed, I couldn't see anything. I suddenly appeared in the room from earlier, this time I picked up the chair and threw it at the wall, causing a small hole to appear. I threw it at the wall over and over again, until the hole was big enough for me to fit through. I climbed through, it was dark again. Two boxes appeared in front of me.

"Pick one." I heard James say. I walked over and opened the one on the right. Inside was a small piece of paper. 'Wrong choice' It said. I turned around to see James standing right next to me. He smiled sweetly and stroked my cheek before leaning in to kiss me. His lips were an inch away from mine, he suddenly gripped onto my throat with both hands, squeezing, trying to choke me. He kept squeezing, tighter and tighter. Until eventually, he threw me down onto the ground, landing on top of me. He pinned my hands above my head. Oh god, not again...

"No!" I screamed. Trying to wriggle out from beneath him.

"Why not Deany bear? You let me do it before."

"I never wanted to! Stop it!"

"You enjoyed it really, didn't you?"

"No!"

"I don't believe you."

"Get off me!"

"Never." He laughed. He began fumbling with the zip on my jeans.

"No! Stop! Please!" I screamed, he just carried on laughing.

"Dean! Dean! Wake up!" I opened my eyes to see Jack and Daniel sat on the bed next to me, eyes full of concern.

"You were screaming in your sleep, are you okay??" Daniel asked. I shook my head. My eyes started filling with tears, I buried my face into Jack's chest and started sobbing. He wrapped his arms around me.

"Shh... It's okay..." He whispered. "Do you want to talk about it?" I shook my head.

"Do you want anything?" Daniel asked, I shook my head again.

"It's okay Daniel, I'll talk to him." Jack said softly.

"Okay, let me know if there's anything I can do. Night."

"Night."

I heard Daniel walk out of the room, closing the door behind him. Jack pulled away from me, resting his hands on my shoulders.

"Are you sure you don't want to talk about it?"

I nodded. He gave me a sympathetic smile.

"Do you want to try and go back to sleep?"

I nodded again, lying back down. Jack turned the light off and lay down next to me. He moved closer, closing the gap between us. He put his arms around my waist, almost touching the cut, I was just praying that the blood hadn't soaked through my pyjama bottoms. I put my arms around his torso and buried my face in his chest.

"Night Jack..." I whispered.

"Night Dean." He whispered back. He muttered something else but I didn't catch it.

It's probably nothing important.
