Dean's POV

I sighed happily as I lay in bed with Jack, my head resting on his chest. My mind flashed back to last night, making me grin.

I finally did it.

James hasn't won.

And he never will.

I looked up at Jack, meeting his eyes.

"Morning Deano." He whispered softly.

"Morning." I smiled back, tilting my head up and kissing him.

"You okay after last night?"

I nodded.

"You're so brave." He said, wrapping his arms around my waist and pulling me closer to him.

I smiled, lifting my head up and resting it on his shoulder.

"Do you know if Daniel got home okay last night?" I asked him.

"I'm not sure." He frowned.

I quickly grabbed my phone off of the bedside table to see that I had a text from him.

Staying at Oliver's tonight, I'll be back sometime tomorrow.

I smiled, locking my phone again.

"He's okay, he's with Oliver."

Jack sighed.

"I don't think he should've gone last night... I mean, two heroin addicts together, what if he relapses?"

"Don't say that, I'm sure he's fine."

"I hope so..."

Three hour had passed, and Daniel still wasn't home. And now, I was terrified. Millions of worst case scenarios ran through my head at once.

What if he's relapsed? What if he's started cutting again? What if he'd killed himself!?

I instantly felt my heart rate increase drastically, my hands began to shake.

"Shh... Dean calm down." Jack mumbled softly. He pulled me onto the sofa, holding me in his arms. "I'm sure he's fine."

"What's taking him so long? He should be back by now!"

"Have you tried calling him again?"

I sighed.

"I'll try again, one sec." I said, pulling my phone out of my pocket and calling Daniel for the twentieth time that day.

It went straight to voicemail.

"This is all my fault! I shouldn't have let him go out with Oliver!" I groaned, burying my face in my hands.

"Dean, there is no way this is your fault. I'm sure-" He was cut off by the front door slamming loudly. We stared at each other for a moment before sprinting into the hallway, where we were met by a startled looking Daniel. I punched him harshly in the arm.
