~~~volleyball game~~~
Sidney walks over to me with a huge smile on her face. "I can't believe we actually won."I nod. "It was great."
Her smile slightly fades. "Are you okay?"
Austin walks over to us - I'd recognize that costume anywhere. "We have to go," he tells us. "It's starting to get crowded."
"I have to go to the bathroom," I tell him.
He gives me an exasperated look. "Hurry up, Kelli. You had the whole game to use the bathroom."
I scoff. "Chill," I snap.
He glares at me through the glasses he's wearing. "You could be walking."
"I'll make sure I do," I say, leaving before he can reply.
Austin has never been this mad at me. He absolutely hates me.
A couple days ago when Alex kissed me, we kind of talked things out. In a more physical way, I guess.
We were making out on the beanbag chair I use whe I listening to him play. He walked in on us and freaked out.
I say there listening to him tell at me for about half an hour. Alex had awkwardly left to go find his brothers. Ever since that day, I'm not allowed to see or talk to Alex.
Which is perfectly fine. I don't like Alex. I just can't believe he would kiss me when he has this huge crush on another girl.
It's rude and mean and that makes him a player.
I hurry in the bathroom before heading outside. I stop at the doorway. I can't see my brother's limousine anywhere.
My eyes water. He actually left me. Right as I was about to pull out my phone, it vibrates.
"Hey," I say.
"You're walking," Sidney says sheepishly.
I sigh, running a hand through my hair. "Make sure my amazing brother knows how much I hate him," I say bitterly. "And I'm not walking to the tour busses."
I can almost feel her frowning. "Where will you go?"
I head in the opposite direction from where I'm supposed to go. There's no way I'm giving him the satisfaction of walking all over me for no reason.
The Starbucks across the street was open. I head inside and find myself a table.
What are you doing?
I sigh. I haven't seen Cody in four days. And this is my alone time.
So I decide to turn off my phone and just relax.
AUSTIN
"Both of you are stubborn," Sidney tells me. "And you are way too bossy."I roll my eyes. "She shouldn't have been making out with--"
"It's better than Cody," she snaps. "You could've walked in on her and Cody making out - which would've been completely gross. But you're being an idiot."
For some reason, that got me very mad.
"Look," I snap. "She knows better than to go around making out with guys. She barely even knows Alex. You don't make out with someone you don't know."
She rolls her eyes. "You are so melodramatic. You are being a jerk to her. She's not going to the tour bus, you know. She wanted me to tell you."
"Where is she going?" I say with a frown.
