"Babe," I mutter. "I hate that movie."
She rolls her eyes. "Don't care if you hate it, Austin. You told me to pick a moiety and I did. Now suck it up and get over it."
I chuckle before putting an arm around her. "I'm only doing it because I love you," I whisper in her ear.
The movie Hunger Games comes on a few minutes later. I paused it to go get popcorn. Right as the microwave beeps, Kelli walks down the steps.
She was dressed up, looking really good.
I eyes narrowed. "What are you doing?"
She shrugs, texting someone on her phone. "I'm going out."
"You're sick."
She turns to face me. "I'll be fine. I'll just be with Cody."
"That doesn't help," I tell her. "You aren't in any condition to go out."
She lets out a frustrated sigh before shaking her head and leaving anyways.
"When will you be back?" I call out in defeat.
She opens the door without saying anything and leaves without looking back.
I let out a sigh. I know I let her down. I know that dating Sidney would make her mad at me. At her. But we had slept together. I couldn't just let her go.
"Babe," Sidney calls. "The movie is starting."
"I don't like that movie," say back, taking a seat beside her.
She leans against me and lays her head on my shoulder. "I love you," she tells me.
My hand goes around her waist and I pull her close. "Love you most."
We watch about of the movie when the front door opens. "The door was open," Luke yells.
I snort. "That would be Kelli," I mutter.
The four brothers walk in the living room. "Dude," Chance says. "This house is huge. It took us five minutes just to get through the hallway."
I roll my eyes. "You're blocking the movie."
Alex stares at the television for a while. "I thought you hated this movie."
"I do."
Luke laughs. "Is it because James Hutcherson got the part instead of you?"
Sidney rolls her eyes. "Its Josh."
"What?" Luke asks, giving her a confused look.
"Josh Hutcherson. Not James."
"Where's your sister?" Ty asks.
I shrug, the mood dying down. "I don't know."
Alex looks over at me. "What do you mean?"
Sidney pulls herself off me and groans. "We aren't finishing this movie, are we?"
I smile, shaking my head.
"Figures."
"Kelli," Alex says. "Where is she?"
"She left about an hour ago. I don't know where. She's still mad at me."
He raises an eyebrow. I swear he's more protective of her than I am. "And you just let her go?" he asks incredulously.
I stare down at the ground. "She won't listen to me. It won't matter what I say if she's mad at me. She's very bad with forgiving people."
