As I predicted, Jason was furious with me. "Kelli, he's the lead singer and he can't even get up. Why don't you keep someone who's not performing awake?"

I look up from my phone. "He called me. And besides, look at the bright side."

Jason waited.

"You know," he sighs. "This is the part when one would traditionally offer a bright side."

I chuckle. "We all know I have never been one to follow the rules. Plus, I wasn't saying I had a bright side, just that we should probably look at one."

He huffs. "Fine. Call your brother in. We can probably work on some of his moves."

I salute him. "Yes, sir."

He points out the door. "Go. And your brother better be able to stay awake or I'll see to it that you get your own tour bus."

I laugh, walking to my brother's dressing room before lightly knocking on the door, which is closed for some reason. I don't hear him say anything so I just walked in. Biggest mistake I've ever made in my life. "Ewww," I cry, covering my eyes. "What are you doing?" I demand.

He chuckles and I hear him get off my former best friend. "Nothing you've never done before."

I cover my ears, singing the catchiest song I can think of before running out of the room. "Lalalalalala..."

"Kelli," I hear him laughing from behind me. "Why did you open the door in the first place? If the door is closed, assume I'm doing something weird."

"Ew," I groan. "You're so gross."

We go in the room. Alex was now peacefully sleeping on the couch. Smiling, I head over and sit beside him, laying his head on my lap. His eyes flutter open and he gives me a small smile. "Hey, gorgeous," he says, letting out a yawn.

"Hello, handsome," I say, making him roll his eyes.

Chance comes in the room. He looks over at us before frowning and going to talk to his brothers.

"I feel like there's something you aren't telling me," I whisper, looking at Alex.

He frowns as well, not looking me in the eyes. "What makes you say that?" he mutters angrily.

I shrug. "The fact that you guys stopped acting civil towards each other as soon as you asked me out, he always frowns when he sees us together, and you got mad as soon as I mentioned his name."

He doesn't say anything.

I run my hand through his hair. "You can tell me," I say softly.

"I know," he mutters. Then he looks at me for a while. I watch something flicker through his eyes before he sighs. "But it's nothing."

And I believe him.

     ~~~ concert in Atlanta, Georgia ~~~
This is the last concert before we go off to perform at Madison Square in New York. The guys are excited, especially Austin who cannot seem to stop thanking me.
"Are you nervous?" I ask Alex as he got ready to perform.
He smiles at me from the mirror, shaking his head. "Come here," he tells me. I stand from the couch and go over to where he's standing. He wraps his arms around me and leans me against his chest. We both look at each other in the mirror. "Maybe a good luck kiss would make me feel better," he whispers into my ear.
I blush, covering my face with my hair.
He chuckles. "Kelli," he says and I look up. "You're perfect."
I smile softly before turning around and leaning in to kiss him. It was a sweet kiss, taking a little longer than necessary. He wrapped his arms around my waist before pulling me closer, a lot like our kiss at SeaWorld. I feel him smile into the kiss and play with the ends of my hair. As he deepens it, my mind reels. I love the feeling of his fingers against my skin. I love his warm breath against my cheek when we stop to breathe. I love that he waited for me while I dated Cody and as I got over him. I love the fact that he treats me like I'm special in comparison to how I was treated in my past relationships. I love that he totally changed my life. And I love him.
As I was about to tell him this, Luke walks in the room. "Hey, Alex, we're about to---" He looks at us. "What were you doing?"
Alex smirks. "Nothing."
I roll my eyes and smack his arm, blushing like crazy.
Luke stays silent for a moment, looking at us for a while. "Well, we're about to go on," he says evenly before leaving the dressing room.
Alex nods before placing another kiss on the lips. "See you after," he says happily.
I smile back, watching him go.
I'm totally in love with him.
I fell in love with a superstar.
