After my rebirth

I had over a month

To think about

What I could do

For my upcoming

Birthday

32

Was really no big deal

Unlike 30 or 35

So I just decided to have a simple dinner

Little did I know that

One day would turn into

A 3 day fiesta

Culminating

In a dinner that ended up

Being a party

Yes there were only

3 of us

But we had so much fun

Especially making fun

Of all of the children

Remembering our own

Younger years

So what started out as just

Another dinner

Wound up being

The best birthday

I have ever had

Well or ill

Goes to show that

Just because

You aren't surrounded

By 15 people

Doesn't mean

You can't have

The time of your life

I laughed until

My cheeks cracked

And danced

Until I couldn't feel my feet

Even in my new

Michael Kors shoes

I am so grateful

To be alive

I am also grateful

For the people now

In my life

My family may be

Microscopic

But friends

Known many years

Become non-blooded kin

I received well wishes

From around the world:

America

South America

England

Germany

Belarus

Luxembourg

Israel

Turkey

India

Singapore

And many more

I am blessed in

The friends I do have

Because without them

32 would have been boring

Maybe would not have happened

At all

My rebirth helped me enjoy

Even the smallest things

I left disappointment at the door

And just had a blast

I had more cakes in one week

Then probably any other birthday

Though grand total the candles equaled 5

It was still quite funny

Thank you all for making
