Was nearly
A death sentence
But I didn't
Wasn't allowed
To leaveFinally I was

So
I declared war
On ME
Depression
AnxietyEverything that is
Wrong with me

Forward march
And
SetbacksBut I'm blessed
Each day
Waking up thankful
For being aliveI declared war
And these battles
I shall win
One step at a time
